I had already put in a 10" sub in a stealthbox in my 96 Explorer and with the new HU the sound is alot better with the improved signal. The bass cranks and the sub control is wonderful. Plus, you cannot beat the great displays available! The high/low crossovers are sweet since you can alter the sound accordingly throughout your system. It really makes driving alot more fun with the improved sound and OEL display. I am currently in the process of replacing my front speakers which should really improve my front stage (no amp to run those, only the HU). I tell you, even now the system is pretty loud just running off of the HU and stock speakers; the HU probably puts out 18-22 RMS even though it is rated at 45 with the MOSFET chip. I went with the 7200 instead of 8200 to save about $60 (didn't need the extra RCA preout, did not want the DFS alarm or RDS and didn't think the 2v preout would really make a major difference in sound for me since it's all just for fun). I highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants an upgrade in SQ for their car/truck, it also was fairly simple to install and comes with a one year warranty.

BUYER BEWARE!!, Do Not order from SBHcorp.com!!

I'm entering this review for those who don't want to make the same mistake I did. SBHcorp's prices are low, but If you cant get what you pay for, what's the point!

I've ordered an Alpine unit from SBHcorp.com and they charged me $15 dollars for shipping which they say takes 10-15 days, well folks it's been over 28 days for me, and SBH does'nt want to speak with me about it. The guy answering the phone basically pushed me off the call after I made the order and had some questions about shipment. I had second thoughts about cancelling the order, but I did'nt (what a mistake). To this date I've made over 5 calls to the company and sent an email requesting assistance and some answers about this situation. Absolutely NO response from SBH Enterprises. I'm glad I made this purchase with my credit card, because I'm going to dispute it all the way. This company is a complete garage shop RIP-OFF ( located in Brooklyn might I say ) that does'nt know what a customer is.

Nice display, the OEL display looks really nice especially at night, it will make ur interior glow blue, great sounding, convenient functions. The best feature of this deck is the screen saver (I prefer the dolphins) which will really catch the attention of anyone in ur car. It will be the center piece. Trust me, it looks really really nice and sounds great.

Extra functions are hard to use while driving because you have to keep pressing the function button to access them. But this is just for using the eq for ur own personal settings, it's very easy to access the pre-set eq settings.

I paid $269.99 at sbhcorp.com. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to get a nice deck and who doesn't want to spend more than $300. Definitely a winner. If you're really into car audio and are planning on going all out I would recommend you pay $50 more for the 8200 or $150 for the 9200.

Very nice deck, works great with the rest of my system... Kinda tricky to work the album and song name section, but other than that.. its an all around awesome piece of deck.
