SUB CONTROL....Too much more to write down.
Weakness:
The menu scrolling buttons. Looks like compass on the right of the unit, do not stand up to the test of time. My head units didnt break but show lots of wear. I have a friend that owns the, at its time flagship, DEH 7200. And one of the buttons literally fell out. Other than that, I can't hate. I've used this player in 3 cars. I have also used numerious players from othe manufacturers. All in all this is a damn good unit. Lots of control, easy to use menus, and best of all Sub control. I like the way it looks in my car, the internal amp is great. Not really anything bad to say. Similar Products Used: I've owned a Sony, JVC, and a Rockford Fosgate. Which this creams. I had an Alpine I sold for $$ due to me being broke, but they still stand toe to toe. The Pioneer takes over the Alpine in price thou |

Mad power, great list of functions.
Weakness:
Its such an awsome CD player that i had my window smashed and complete dash stolen so the dirty san#^%@ could steal it. also took my welfare radar detector and 1 dollar family dollar special sunglasses... probably sold at the sp..k market for 50 bucks to some dope This is a CD player to be reckoned with. its got more features and better sound quality than anything in the price range. once you get used to the menus it is really easy to use. its was the best stereo ive ever had (notice WAS). some decided it would be cool if they broke my window and try and steal everything while i was at work, destroyed the back seat trying to get into the trunk *MDF makes a great barrier.. barrior? anyway, they ripped the back seats apart, and took the entire dash panel with them to take the cd player, leaving the heating and ac unfixable... its such a good thing that insurance companies are there to rip you off, otherwise i would have been able to afford replaceing the stereo instead of paying 120 a month FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. oh well, capitolism sucks. dont think anyone wants to hear me rant and rave about insurance and dirty people (i think they are both the same) Similar Products Used: Sony Xplode (crap) Clarion... 2 models, both crap. Alpine (now) too complicated |

. It has a clean sound, 3 Loud settings, hi/lo-pass filters, front rear and sub pre-amp, a good RMS.
Weakness:
Diffucult to tweek the advance sound EQ when driving and the abilty not to eject a cd with the car off, though that is not too major. This cd player is a great value for all of the features that are included with a nice looking display. Similar Products Used: None |

Lots of Features so you can adjust it to just the way you want to hear it.
Weakness:
nothing This is a great CD Deck because it has so many features though sometimes it gets confusing. It is great if you want to hook up alot of subs to it (6). I guess it has a nice little alarm on it though i havent got it hooked up yet. Overall if you awnt a good deck that has alot of features for pretty cheap i would get this one. Preouts, subout adjustments, cxb3875 remote control is compatable!
Weakness:
Makes a popping noise when scrolling through menus (especially sub adjustments). Also not suitable for an SQ stereo. Wish that Bass, Sub, Treble & volume was adjustable with an anlog knob to prevent blowing out speakers. I purchased a demo unit but it had popping sounds when scrolling through the menus for sound adjustments. I received a new one from the factory in 2 days (mailed to the store where i bought it from), so the customer service was impressive. Alas, the damned thing still makes a slight popping sound, mostly when the sub adjustments are used. When the sub crossover function is used, the level is not lost; i like that. The subbass is nice sounding, nice & strong, & using the as good as an analog knob. I like the 2 volt max outputs as well. Price, display, features, power of built in amp, sub out, pop up rotary control, remote, sound quality.
Weakness:
It's not as pretty as the more expensive models. I would definetely recomend this product to anyone that wants a high quality reciever with all the features that is for a cheap price. I paid $210 including shipping on ebay and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to get an amp so I can take full advantage of it. However the internal amp is better than most. Similar Products Used: Sony wouldn't play my cds and sounded terrible, heard other pioneers that weren't as good as the 6200. |

This head unit has so many features. It really does a lot for the price. It gives you the performance of some of the other more expensive Pioneer units, but doesn't have the silly grpahics that jack up the price. Don't listen to the fools at car stereo shops. Everywhere you go they will tell you that their brand is superior, and then tell you the distortion levels. If you are just looking to run factory highs, and get them to sound good, this is the CD Player for you. I have been nothing but satisfied with it.
Weakness:
A light went out in it, so I had to go like 6 weeks with no subs in my car, but it was repaired for free. I would recomend this to anyone who is interested in building a nice system on a budget. The money you save on the head unit and replacing you speakers will be enough to upgrade subs and amp. Similar Products Used: MANY MANY MANY.. This is the best for the buck as far as I see. My highs scream, adn they are factory. |

Great unit to build a system around. Front rear and sub pre outs
Weakness:
Tough to set EQ levels, can't be done while driving. You must study the manual to operate the long list of features. I picked this up at the recomendation of a freind. I am blown away by all of the features.I first bought the 5200 but returned it because I wanted to be able to upgrade later. I would recomend this product. Not as flashy as some a good choice for adults.Features way to many to list. Similar Products Used: Sony, Panasonic |

Pioneer DEH 6200
Strength:
Nice, just nice. Looks nice in the dash of my 2000 Golf. Colors good at night. Nice sound, nice radio reception, "loud" mode nice as well. May not look as flashy as other ones when they're on a screen, but definetly top notch when install
Weakness:
Tough installation, maybe just b/c of premium sound system in my car. Almost too many options, tough to scroll through them all while driving. I paid 300 for it from crutchfield, one of the few recievers that had good stats, good looks, and fit in my dash. the DEH-7200 has dolphins, but unless you're willing to blow 80 beans on dolphins, stick with this pioneer. I recommend. Similar Products Used: Factory. Pioneer a vast improvement. |

Strength:
Looks, ease of operation, hi-power built in amp, remote, and the hi/lo pass filter
Weakness:
the fold down face I paid $245 for this head unit. I would definately recommend this head unit for anyone who is building a budget system with the on board hi/lo pass filter for the 4 main speaker channels eliminate the need for a external amp or crossover.Plus the reciever has enough power to keep up with a sub!!!
