Strength:
50 watts x4. Different base settings and lots of things to customise the sound you like the most. Looks nice in any car
Weakness:
none I own a 1995 f-150 and I decided to purchase the Pioneer deh-p44 model. The 50 watts x4 puts out an amazing sound, much better than the stock one. In my opinion if your gonna buy a head unit, definetly go with the Pioneer. Top Qaulity. |

Pioneer DEH 4400
Strength:
-Good Sound -Disc Never Skips -Relatively Simple Design -Can Send All Bass to Back Speakers
Weakness:
-Small Buttons (but they all have this problem) -No Simple Way to Change Treble and Bass -No CD Text, if you care Recently my OEM Cassette Player started eating my tapes, plus there was a buzz everytime I plugged in a portable CD player. So I decided to upgrade to a CD Receiver. I looked through a ton of them, checking them out in stores, asking friends opinions. I finally decided on the Pioneer 4400. I have to say I am extremely happy with the product. There were a few things that were important to me: 1. Decent Sound, but since I am not going to add an external amp or upgrade the speakers, I think any reputable brand would have been OK. 2. Simple design, I very much prefer OEM looks, so I was turned off by some of the really flashy recievers. 3. I wanted something that felt solid. The construction of this Pioneer seemed much better to me than the Sony or JVC. Especially the volume knob. The low end JVCs and all the Sonys seem like the volume knob could bust any second to me. After purchasing the unit, I was pretty surprised at how nice it sounded. Right after installing it, I started trying to hit potholes to see if the reciever would skip; never have I had a CD or CD-R skip on me. Another very nice addition is that there is a function that allows you to send all the bass to the back, typically more powerful, speakers. I found the sound to be much better this way for my car. Overall I would recommend this product, especially at $155 plus delivery. Similar Products Used: none |
