Excellent radio
Strength:
Excellent audio, easy to use.
Weakness:
writing wears off buttons I got a car about a week ago as a first car. It had this radio in it instead of the factory installed original. I could figure this thing out in about ten minutes. I was impressed with its ease of use. The buttons have the numbers and letters mostly worn off, but overall I am very pleased. I looked up the manual online and found that I had only missed one or two features in the ten minutes I had been playing with it. |

DEH-1500
Strength:
Overall performance for the price.
Weakness:
None, other than EQ being a bit of a pain to use. Excellent all-around performance, especially considering the price ($110 after Pioneer rebate). Radio reception is well above stock unit, and Panasonic it replaced. Plays any CD you put in it, including CD-R's of lousy quality. Doesn't skip, (even on the BQE). Crutchfield's instuctions and install kits made installation a breeze. Power is decent but not overwhelming. Similar Products Used: Various Panasonic, Pioneer, and Kenwood. |
