I love the Panasonic Head unit! I had never owned a panasonic anything in car audio but I am impressed! I recently upgraded My 1999 Ford Ranger with 5x7" Cerwin vega door speakers and a couple subs in back! I have a Kenwood digital amp so I really didn't know how this was all going to work out!! Well right in the middle of getting all this equipment installed I had to get a better Head Unit. I had a older model Pioneer super tuner3 but when It was all done I didn't have any LPF or HPF sub adjustment! He told me I had to have a head unit that had it! I looked everywhere but everything was pricy! He said he had a Panasonic CQ-C9700U for 389.00 but that night I found one on Ebay for 175 with a warranty! I bought it he put it in and its a whole different game with the panasonic!! I really do like it! I don't usually write reviews on alot of stuff, but this unit is really a cut above the rest! I think the panasonic was an 05 model and still played all my MP3's CDRw's and has a sub out and front and rear rca's for an additional amp for your doors and dash! I like the neat images that race across the screen, like the fish aqaurium and the indy car and the palm trees and the space age city and planets are cool! If and when I have trouble out of this unit, I most definately will get another Panasonic! I am kinda hard to please when it comes to sound quality, and tight bass! It has it all! No regrets here! I would have paid the 389.00 if I had it then, but they broke me with the amp and sub install!lol peace! Deboyz in Tennessee
