Strength:
Plays everything. Doesn´t jump easily. Easy to use. Doesn´t brake at all.
Weakness:
Doesn't play MP3 - That´s why I'm changing it. It´s almost perfect. I have used it since 99 and it never got broken. I've used many types of cd-r's and it accepted them all. I'm selling it now, because i'll get a Kenwood MP3. Similar Products Used: None, it never broked. |

it's like this... the kenwood is a decent deck.... i'm not sayin it's good.. because i've been in car audio for a long time.... unless your building a system to brag about, the kenwood kdc2011S will do anyone rightly... i have owned alpines and jvc's that blow this one outta the water.... but it works.... and i'm happy |

For the guy who said "get your head out of your hole", I would like to tell him to take his own advice. I had a sony explode cd player in my car that was stolen. This deck sounded awsome. I then had a kenwood put in. What a piece of crap. Kenwood sucks to put it simply. I'm switching it out for a pioneer. |

I have to say that I love this deck. I'm not really into car audio and I don’t really care what I have connected to what speakers or amp or …whatever, as long as I can play it loud and I love this kenwood. And no offense intended, but if you’re big into your car audio equipment why are you buying a deck that is so inexpensive(I know I paied way under $200 for mine, new in box)? Buy something high end if you expect that kind of quality. You get what you pay for. This is a nice, easy to use piece of equipment and as long as you don't drop the face plate (I take mine off and put it in the glove box) your fine. I have had not problems with the lcd screen and have never had to have it repaired. When I was shopping for a cd player I wanted something easy to use that wasn’t too flashy, that if I got into upgrading my system, I could still use. This deck was what I got, and it’s just that. |

Strength:
The simple layout of the display is easy to read and the controls couldn't get simpler to use. The sound is incredible as well. I'm impressed
Weakness:
Doesn't have a CD changer control built in and distortion occurs before I would like it to, but thats all For all of you that say nasty things, get your head out of your hole. The deck is just fine, and for the few of you that say the faceplate broke, stop dropping it on the ground. Problem solved. And get a brain, I've changed the deck on my car to a friends Pioneer just to see, and the sound was not a nice, so it is just you that has the problem. KENWOOD is a good cost effective choice. If you want to make it better, fine, go get an equalizer, but don't make the head unit the bad guy. Do you people know anything. Even a freaking Pioneer will sound like crap until you connect it right. And besides, MAYBE a tip would be to use an amp and proper speakers. Kenwood is good. Similar Products Used: Had a sony deck (can't remember the model number) and it was to flashy. Couldn't read the display cause to much crap going on, and in like 8 different colors. Not easy to use either, and even though it was new 3 years ago, it wasn't very good |

Strength:
CD Player barely rates an OK perhaps 2.0
Weakness:
Lousy, Lousy, Lousy FM reception. Dropouts, mono only, trashy noise, etc. Drove an 89 Maxima 100 k with a bose (is that blows?) system with no real bass and no highs but everyone said changing it out would be a bear. Similar Products Used: First Auto CD Player for me. |
