This deck is 11 years old and every Button still works

Hm, its a 500 dollar deck, i paid 15 bucks for it and a 12in sub in box

When i got it my friend said i needed to get a disk cleaner. I took it apart and took my time to clean the lense, kinda hard to get to. After that no more error 3, havent had 1 problem since.

Paid £300 - Remarkably stunning looks, well illuminated display, good power. Solid electro-rotary control, Easy to get used to and the 'preset scan' a damn handy function for listening around and seeing whats on. I would recommend this because its a lovely CD-tuner and never skips as it has a one-piece CD mechanism. Loads of functions and Clarion last for ages! Go out and buy one, give them recognition they deserve!

Built in AMP is a weak. I've added amps, would only suggest this for the audiophile with amps already.

It's Clear, CD player is most dynamic i have heard, and Great display.

The power is a little on the week side, The Clock is slow, and the tunner could be a bit better(maybe just the area i live in).

This is a great deck. One for the mid audio fan. the price is good for the options. It has the abbility to be a Pro deck with the EQDPS unit, which is quite caustly. I'd have to say that there are other decks equal and better but for the price and the options that it has the Clarion 8575 is a great deck.

There are other Decks at the same price which maynot have the 3 inputs for external amps but have "cooler" displays. There Are others...I guess im just a clarion fan.

well..i was using a SONY XR750 which was one of the sony second top model for radio cassette... which i think thE REceiption really SUX!! but the features availabe is NOT BAD!! well..compare with the DRX8575Z...NO WAy sony could be better...coz the sound and recieption IS FANTASTIC!! PLUS the CD quality! excellelT!

Bright display, anti-glare screen, huge volume control knob, large lettering.

Menu options a bit complicated to navigate. Inconsistent button location makes it hard to adjust without daylight or dome light being active.

Not a bad deck at all. Skipping not a problem with this deck. 3 sets of outputs makes it easy for multi-amping. Z-enhancer virtually useless (curves too extreme). Nice features with varying degrees of illumination. Clean deck. I'd buy another.

High-Power, good remote! unlike those tiny credit card ones which thier battey life suck and get lost anyhow. Good ergonomics, C-net, multimedia ready,Awesome display, Also I love that rotary knob. Too much to mention, just check it out for yourself.

Weaknesses?.....yeh where is the kitchen sink?

I have a being a loyal fan of Alpine, Kenwood and Nakamichi CD recievers for many years, but have always bypassed Clarion for it ugliness rather than its performance.Until recently. I truly believe that All the other manufactures have lost thier reputation and quality as high-end units. Clarion on the other hand has done a magnificant job in the recent year or two on thier Head units. Not also do they look great but thier peformance and value are great! I have tested numerous recievers and nothing comes close to the DRX 8575z. This unit has every option and gadget a reciever can possibly obtain. Unless of course you upgrade to the DRX9575. I have had nothing but positive responses and satisfaction out of this radio. Clarion is an outstanding leader in the multimedia dept. and if you are a " tech-geek" or " bass-head" or for that matter demand the best from your CD reciever, I highly recommend any of thier HEAD UNIT products. I would also recommmend to get the DPH7500z DSP/Crossover/EQ/DGP...with this option the sky is the limit with what you can do. In my closing statement... You folks may not care about my opinion, but I tell you what if are considering an awesome and nothing but the best...Look no further than this CD unit. :)

Excellent display and controls. 3 pre-outs pass a very clean signal, no noise/interference. Has never skipped a beat.

CD-text scrolling is a little blocky, not like a smoother dot-matrix display. Remote is large, but has a great range and control. Bass control affects subwoofer frequencies.

I've been running this deck and 6-disc changer for over a year now. It integrated perfectly into my multi-amp system, and was a breeze to install. Clean sounding and visually appealing, the display is not cluttered like so many other units out there.

CT clock is slow, and can someone tell me what's up with CD-text?

For a long time I was a great Sony fan,and so I had few Sony products,but after buying this one I will not buy a Sony again! The sound quality is superior,reproduction is reliable(on bad roads it works like MD),it has very quick response when changing tracks or tuner-to-CD... You won't regret your money for buying this one!
