Strength:
Power and clarity
Weakness:
"micro" buttons that are impossible to read in the dark. The backlighting behind the buttons only glares out the printed button function. If you don't already know what the button does, forget it in the dark. And if you are driving, forget it in the daytime, you'll never be able to read the very, very small print on the tiny buttons. Have this in a 1986 Jaguar XJ6. Nice clarity and power. Like the rotary volume control (like all Alpines). I would have to think hard about buying it again, only due to the small, almost impossible to read control buttons. Similar Products Used: Pioneer DEH 4600. |

Alpine CDM-7874
Strength:
Nice powerful amp,Subwoofer level control, bass and treble adjustments and simple but pretty nice graphics and it plays all my cd's even the CDR's
Weakness:
No remote This is a very nice head unit. It has bass and treble adjustments to make your music sound just the way you want it. You get the thumping bass and the crisp sound of the highs. The 50 watts per channel is real nice when hooked up to my amp. I especially like the subwoofer level control. And it has BBE too.
