Strength:

XM Radio Ready, 3 different angled positions, loud, settings are easy to configure

Weakness:

Only 1. The treble is overwhelming, no matter if you have it turned up loud or down low. Maybe it's just my deck though cuz no one else has mentioned that problem in their reviews.

Overall this is a nice stereo to have. It's very versitile. I only have 1 complaint though, for some reason no matter what I do I get an overwhelming about of treble on my deck. That's all you hear is the treble.

Strength:

Crossover, BBE Technology, Bass Forward, Bass Curve, Bass Center, CD Text, AI Changer Control, 60Wx4, XM Ready, Aux. Plugs to hook up a TV, VCR, or a DVD Player. It can drive the power without stress.

Weakness:

It is not an MP3 Player

This is a really sweet deck, it has all kinds of fun things to mess with like the nice crossover, BBE, Bass forward, Bass curve, and, what i like most, you can hook up a VCR, DVD Player, or a TV, and watch it in HIFI. if you want surround sound you will have buy a decoder. this deck can handle the power with no probs. and the display is phat, none of the distrations such as moving ships. And I got a great deal on it was 449 dollors and got it for 349 dollorsand a free 49 dollors remote, so I got 2 remotes. I got 2 Cerwin Vegas, 2 Sony Xplodes(Great speaker.handles lows without disstortion, and crisp highs.),Phoenix Gold Amp, and 2 Rockford Fosgate HX2 Powers, and with this deck just knocks it all to full blast

Weakness:

The text scrolling is really slow.. But I hardly have any cd-text cds so doesnt really matter

I love this deck! Great features.. No BS stuff that just gets u to buy the decks " like dolphins and stuff" And turns out to be a low quality deck.

Strength:

Excellent bang for the buck Bright blue LED's and silver border Plays CD-R's and XM Radio ready It's an Alpine No stupid, wasteful high action displays like Pioneer, Kenwood, and Sony

Weakness:

Alpine for some reason this particular model year had only the sub-out as 4volt. Apparently a cost cutting action.

Great receiver with many features, such as BBE, angle adjustment, CD Text, etc. Has very powerful internal amp for a receiver, and 3 preouts are very nice. Some may be disappointed at the supposed lack of action on the display, but I think it is just enough to be tasteful. Far and away better than the Sony Xplod I had previously.

Weakness:

way too many buttons and the LCD screen is not too interesting (compared to others such as the Pioneer DEHP-6400)

Strength:

Extremely user friendly, cool display, love the color scheme.

Weakness:

I've not had a problem yet.

It was a bit tough to actually install it into my 92 SVX, needed a little bit of extra parts, but otherwise was fine. Easily worth every cent of my money. Made the stocks sound 250% better in the rear. Door speakers are stock, and even though they rattle, sound is noticeably better. I will be changing them soon.

Awesome power, cool display, superior sound quality and controls.

Weakness:

the face is motorized so it flips down EVERY time you put a new cd in! Definetly buy some kind of warranty, wherever you buy it from! Mine was 24 months for 20 bucks.

I love this cd player! It provides lots of power to my 6 1/2" speakers.I also love having the ability to program the names of my cds on the display. It also has a cool blue display. Its a little bright though.
