ARX7370
Strength:
Nice display, graphics that can be deactivated if you find them annoying, cd title memory, detachable face, EQ/DSP/cd changer/t.v. inputs give you a lot of options for your system, great sound quality!
Weakness:
The stupid alpha-selector sucks, is difficult to use (eg. you skip the song when you want to turn up the volume), but the remote makes up for this. Also, no att. button. My deck is the 7370, pretty much the same as the 7470. By itself, it''s just a fancy tape deck. But with a disc changer and signal processor, this thing is great! Nice, cool-looking display, cd title memory, not too many useless buttons/features, awesome sound, remote control (that way, you can control most functions without even looking)! Makes an awesome system "brain" when used with a processor, giving you sub control, crossover control, EQ control, etc. I got it for a great price with the changer and processor ($600 Can. for everything!). The best Clarion deck of that year. |

I own this product and find that the large display area is easy to see and understand. It is nice that it comes with a remote. The message screen in the top right hand corner of the unit is not seen on many other decks as well as the third pre out and dolby C.I like the title feature, I find that it amuses a lot of my friends people. The alpha touch trackball is a little hard to get used to but after a while it becomes kind of fun. |
