Strength:
Reliable and dependable. Great sound and power from head unit. Has kept me from buying a cd head unit thus far. Just add a changer and go.
Weakness:
CAn't play other sources while searching tape selections. This is the most dependable and reliable cassette in dash systems I have ever had. It has been installed in 3 different of my personal company trucks. It has never eaten a tape or failed to operate in any way since purchased new several years ago. Similar Products Used: Kenwood,Clarion. These are $1 store junk compared to the quality, sound and dependabilty of this Alpine. |

Alpine TDM 7544
Strength:
It has a Great Tape Player. I like the Digtal Settings it has. I has a Great FM tuner i drive a lot into differnt areas with differnt Radio stations and it can pick up a lot of Stations.
Weakness:
I Wish it had a Scan Button for the Radio. That is one thing i do find to be a bit distracting when i drive into anther area with different Stations i have to hit the Seek non stop. and I dont like the Dap settings. I Got this Alpine Stereo For my 1992 Toyota Tercel. It had a really poor Factory Radio and it also was a 2 Speaker System. I added Back speakers and replaced the Front speakers and it sounds Great and it looks better i think it adds vaule to the car when i sell it anyone that buys it will like the good stereo. Similar Products Used: This is the only Car Stereo i have used other than the Factory. |

Strength:
Has good sound quality, can pick up radio stations better than other radio's I've owned. Has never ate a tape!
Weakness:
needs 3 FM's instead of 2 and the D. A. P. feature isin't very convenient. I would rather have the model with the graphic equalizer Alpine is very good quality, unfortunately I haven't had the chance to use an Alpine CD player but they claim that they don't skip. I would recomend this to anybody that still has a lot of tapes laying around and it can be expanded with a CD shuttle if you want to spend the money. Overall the system works great and I have never had any problem with it. Similar Products Used: None |
