rated 450rms@4ohmsmono@12.9v does not get hot cheaper than those it can class with and leaves you with no doubt than it can run with the best of them.
Weakness:
none i have absoloutly no complaints about this amp. it pushes my perfect12 with no problems, it hardly gets warm, many people where i live have never heard of USAccoustics. everyone buys mtx, rf,jbl, kicker, cadance and others so when they here my setup they all think its one of those brands. i can honestly say you can believe every spec on the sheets, it produces clean sound, the xover realy works, the bass boost is great it mekes the low end sound and feel like thunder,my gain is only at 1/4 like any amplifier this is only achieved by having a clean and powerful input signal, through my own experience i have heard the best amps sound like the cheapest. POWER!!! This amp will give you the power you need. I had two 10inch RF's HE2 DVC's and the 450 watts from this amp shook the hell out of my car!!! U S A Coustics amps are awesome!
Weakness:
Perhaps if it came with pre-amp outputs it would make a perfect amp for any system. If you need an amp that will push you sub to the max(good sub that is) go ahead and get any USACoustic amp. This one will push any 10's or 12's. For the price, I highly recommend these subs any time. Similar Products Used: Go ahead and compare with Rockford Fosgate and MTX amps. These are cheaper and sound very good! Maybe even better than rf and mtx |

Strength:
clean power, underrated, price
Weakness:
no preamp outputs I didn't know what kind of amp to get to push my two 12" Polk EX subs. I wanted something that was going to produce clean power so the bass would sound good but not something that would clean out my bank account. I looked at many websites and crutchfield seemed to have the best deal on underrated amps. (Underrated amps produce cleaner power). I had heard a couple Orion amps and they are the best!!! The reason I didn't go with them is because their amps are a little out of my price range. (Cleaner power but close to twice as much for the same rated power). I decided to go with US Acoustics because they have all the features I wanted (except remote gain control) and they are cheaper. I have heard about these amps heating up too much and even catching on fire. I haven't had any problems but then again I don't turn the volume up full blast and try to get the highest spl. It produces enough clean power at normal to moderate listening levels. I haven't turned it up over 2/3 of the way. My theory is if you wire the amp correctly and don't abuse it, you shouldn't have any problems unless it's defective.
