Strength:

low price, clean, powerful.

Weakness:

no cross over.

Check it out. Fifty bucks buys you 160watts bridged Rms or 65watts Rms stereo. Just like the other US Acoustics amps, it's seriously under-rated. The catch is that it has no cross over network of any kind. actually there's not much to it, run power to it, plug a set of patch cables into it, connect speakers. There is a gain control for source matching, that's it. Now, I have this amp driving a Rockford Fosgate Punch Z 12" sub in a sealed truck box of 1.2cu. ft. The cross-over is supplied courtesy of the main amp's pre-outs. I can feel the impact of the kick drums in my chest, while still retaining sonic accuracy.
