Model Reviewed: 2001 model 1000watt class-D

Strength:

~class-D design ~never heats up ~doesnt take alot from your batery ~1-ohm stable is very nice ~Loud, never clips

Weakness:

~dont like lead-wire connection ~Distorts a little at real high volumes ... thats about it

Great amp. I have it running two round 15inch kicker solobarics in sealed enclosures (1.497 ft^3) and hit 146db's at a comp over the last summer. Which is very good for subs in sealed boxes. The amp is 1ohm stable, I have it running in 2 ohms. It never even gets warm. Doesnt drain the battery at all. Overall good amp.

~Cadance A7+HC (cadance is better) ~Legacy (all legacy/pyramid is garbage) ~Best comparably to Kenwood's top amp

Strength:

great price, phase shift, cool looks, strong power for small amp

Weakness:

cannot drive a 1 ohm load without going into protect. i tried hooking up four four ohm subs to it to get 100 watts rms and it went into protect every time no matter what i tried

This is is cool if you wanna drive 3 4 ohm subs it sends out 270 watts per sub rms this is a great amp for its price

Strength:

alot of power, clean install look great price($250new) and o.k. looks

Weakness:

not enough gain control, and o.k. looks

overall a good investment, but i have noticed that the gain doesn't allow enough adjustment to match alot of head units output level(i have new kenwood added external crossover to boost signal and now sounds great , and i'm able to push both my 10's (pheonix gold x-max's)
