powerful, cheap, 2/1 ohm stable

it's BIG(but easy to mount), heats up quite a bit

At first, I didn't expect much from sony, since I heard they weren't that great. This amp turned out to be pretty nice though. I have it bridged to 3 subs at about 2.667 ohms. They sound great and it sounds like the sony is doing it's job. The only thing is that this baby heats up like crazy and doesn't seem to be the most efficient amp.
