Strength:
Deep and clean bass Cheaper then most amps Looks okay
Weakness:
Doesnt have any flashy lights Bad wiring system Big Really good deal for this amp ... Replaced a Ultralinear 400w Amp with this one... big difference lots of bass and way cleaner Havent got the chance to bridge it yet but has more bass then the 400w ultralinear when its not bridged ... No distortion . I had a clarion amp before the ultralinear that died but this sony amp has better and cleaner bass and is good for the price I am using this amp on a high performance visonik sub 900w max and 450 RMS Similar Products Used: Clarion amp Visonik Normal and High performance subs Pyramid amp and 6x9's Sony Deck and amp and speakers Jensen Speakers and 10" subs Thump-Worst subs ever- Alpine 6x9's Panasonic Deck Stock |

great for you highs
Weakness:
would not recomend for subs i hate the wire conectors This amp is a great amp for you highs!! Hello who the hell uses 150 watts of power for a subwofer if you wanna drive a sub go with the sony 1600gxd it will send 800 watts to three subs. i don't recomend using this amp for subs unless you dont like alot of bass. i got mine hooked up to 2 audiobahn 6x9's and it screams like a mo fo. Strength:
nice layout of all the RCAs, Gain and connections and options on it are great
Weakness:
what cant i say! dont compare to other amps ive owned. if it had more kick and clearer sound it would be good. but again u get what u pay for. the layout is nice on the amp and the gain and other options on the amp are good. This sony Xplod 760 amp dont come close to the power my (2)10" MTX thunder 6000's in a ported Bandpass box can handle. the amp is ok, it has a deep sound but it isnt very clear and it dont give me the pound I like. I had a old school kenwood 600 watt amp before it died and it sounded clearer and could go better on my subs. i think i will get rid of it. like most products u buy, u get what u pay for. buy junk expect poor results. i would rather a Rockford amp of equal watts, Alpine V12 or even my blown Kenwood amp if it was still kickin. if you are spending money spend it on a different brand. i would not spend no big amount used or ever buy this amp new. it didn't break or blow up
Weakness:
380watts?? then why does my 300 watt RF amp hit harder? it looks good. but that was before i came into the light and seen that RF and these other brands have smaller amps that put out as much power and sound better. Similar Products Used: RF USAcoustics, Kenwood |

Good price, seems to work properly with no problems so far.
Weakness:
Dials on the back, hard to access especially if this amp is mounted on your box. Not powerful enough but as I said it does the job if your subs are less powerful. This amp is a good deal for the price. I have it running 2 12 inch alpine type Rs and it produces decent bass. However I am looking at investing in another one of these amps cuz I am getting some clipping at higher volumes. For less powerful subs it does the job. Similar Products Used: none |

brand, price

although there are better amps im a pleased customer. Ive got this amp pushing 2 12" infinity reference subs (1220peak 300rms) and the 150rms watts makes these speaker hit hard. The amp has to be the most important part of your stereo and with my purchase i couldnt be any happier. Your rms from your amp should be on the higher side of what your subs rms can produce and for me thats right in the middle (amp=150rms, sub=300rms) but no complaints here. They do turn many heads. |
