Outstanding! What else can I say? Rockford Fosgate has outdone itself yet again! I remember when I used to brag to my friends about how great my brother's old punch amp. sounded back in 1981. Man, have things come a long way! The amp. he had was great, but the P4004 is simply brilliant! When tuned correctly, it provides crisp, clear and clean POWER. It's kind of funny when I think back to what the installer said when he was originally hooking up this amplifier. I asked him if he thought Fosgate amps. are any good. He said "Well, since I have one in my car does that answer your question?" Furthermore, he made a comment that Fosgate amps. are not only great amps., but they are also famous for blowing speakers because they are so powerful. Anyhow, the P4004 is an excellent amplifier for those who want clean power in a truly cool yet efficient design at a reasonable price. I love the chrome covering plates and the adjustments to tune the beast are very easy to use. It was also interesting to note that this thing weighs about 15 pounds! My mechanic couldn't believe how big it was. I have it mounted to the back of my rear folding seats in my '04 Cobra. When I fold those seats down, my friends eyes light up and they collectively say "WOW!" Bottom line: If you are looking for a 4 channel amp. that kicks out more than your internal organs can safely handle, you've come to the right place. As far as I am concerned, you can't buy anything that compares to this product in this price range with respect to quality, engineering, design and efficiency! If this is still not enough for you, there is always the P8004 which gives you twice the power!
