SOUND GOOD WHEN IT WORKS.

WORD OF WARNING: DO NOT BUY THESE R/F AMPS. THE GOOD REVIEWS YOU SEE ARE WRITTEN BY PEOPLE AT R/F AND BEST BUY. I HAVE TWO UNITS, INSTALLED IN THE TRUNK AND THEY INSTALLED THEM INCORRECTLY.

GARBAGE. I DID NOT SEE ANY LISTING FOR THE 200S "PUNCH", SO I WILL PLACE MY REVIEW HERE. FIRST, THE IDIOTS AT BEST BUY IN RACINE, WI ARE ARROGANT BUT INCOMPENTENT. I HAD TO HAVE THEM FIX 2 PROBLEMS AS SOON AS THEY FINISHED. CHARGED ME $300 TO INSTALL 2 AMPS. NOW TO THE AMP. I HAVE A $20,000 STEREO IN MY HOME AND I KNOW WHAT GARBAGE IS. THIS AMP IS GARBAGE. THE GAIN ADJUSTMENT KNOB IS DEFECTIVE AND AT TIMES, THE SPEAKER WILL JUST SOUND LIKE IT IS DISTORTED AND THE VOLUME WILL DECREASE. IT IS NOT THE SPEAKER. WHEN I ADJUST THE GAIN, THE SPEAKER POPS WHEN THE KNOB IS TURNED. IT IS AKIN TO A SHORT IN A SWITCH - WHEN YOU MOVE IT AROUND, GENTLY PUSH UP, THE POPPING OCCURS. I AM HAVING MINE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY. I WAS TALKING TO DIFFERENT SALESMAN, AT DIFERENT SHOPS, AND ALL SAID WHEN ROCKFORD STARTED SELLING THEIR AMPS AT BEST BUY, THE QUALITY PLUMMETED.

kinda loud for 5 min before it blows up

Overheats way to easy, not fused, not stable, no power.

This amp is very weak, it has no punch behind it, i was only running two 6x9s off it and it blew up four times, good thing I had the warranty.

This is the best amp for the money that I have ever owned!! I had it powering boston fx60 seperates up front and a 8" JL audio W3 in the rear. This thing NEVER overheated, and I abused the heck out of it. Always sounded clean and maintained that even when it got hot.

SENDS GOOD CLEAN SIGNAL. POWER IS MORE THAN EXPECTED. HIGHLY DURABLE IN ALMOST ANY APPLICATION.

HEAT UP RATHER QUICKLEY

I HAVE USED THIS AMP TO POWER THE MIDS AND HIGHS IN A TWO AMPLIFIER SYSTEM. IT PUTS OUT MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER FOR ITS APPLICATION. IT HAS ONLY ONE MAJOR DRAWBACK AND THAT IS THE FACT THAT IT HEATS UP RATHER QUICKLY. WHILE I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED A CUTOFF IT IS SOME THAT WILL BOTHER ANY CAR AUDIO ENTHUSIAST. IT WAS ON THE PRICEY SIDE BUT WORTH THE MONEY

must be placed right-side up to avoid problems (so the book and the guys at the shop say)

So far so good...running just the mids and highs and this badboy really throws...plan on using it for a two amp system and seems to be on the right track. Won't overheat and small enough to fit in tight spaces (minus the end caps) Paid 300 canadian when everyone else wants 400 plus...good unit overall

Strong, Clean Power. Built like a tank.

This little amp is a powerhouse. It's hard to believe that it's only rated at 25W x 4 (4 ohms). I am using it to drive 4 Focal V165 drivers (6.5") and tweeters, and the power and sound I get is like I have subs...
