Great value. This amp gave my 12" sub a good workout, then I used it on a set of high power components, it played loud and clear.

Runs really cool for hours, Great SQ/SPL, All around great sub!!
Weakness:
None Yet I have the 400msx which is just a mono version of the 400sx. I have this wire up to 2 MA Audio subs wired for a 2 0hm load and crossed over @ 80hertz w/ 7-8 db of bass boost. This thing makes those subs pound harder then any amp I've had this these subs hooked up to. I'm using the stock headunit hooked up to the high inputs so I haven't found out it's true potential yet. easy to install, looks nice,

kinda big, dims lights, but whatever not a bad amp, i got it powering two audiobahns and it gets really loud, it does dim headlights and neon lights but it throws out good power for the price! if running subs bridging this amp is the best way to go alotta power, probably puts out around 300w peak to each of my subs pretty good amp, cheak out my amp and install,@ http://www.sounddomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=258817 Similar Products Used: kenwood 600w, sony 760w |

Look Power Pric protection mode
Weakness:
I ran the system for 40 min and the amp did not go into protection mode The amp gets very hot mount to a surface that can shed heat (metal) Just wired up my 800sx with three MTX thunder 6000's. What a bang!!!!!! Great amp pushing 600 watts to my three tens wired in parallel for a 4 ohm impedance. With the gain at 1/4 my Impala became a high powered vibrator. Great look, great price, and even better preformance. Similar Products Used: older profile calfornia 800 watt peak amp (white model) |

looks good and has a cool red light. works well with regular system speakers.
Weakness:
runs very hot!!!!!!!!! and can't handle high quality subs...... overall this is a really cool little amp if your going to run a set of 6x9's or some door speakers.but when i tried to run my 2-jbl 1041's(10")it had problems....when wired standard it had no "push" and it dimmed the headlights(even though it is wired directly to the battery.when in briged mode and wired "in series" with the gain at almost 3/4's it kicked goooood!and the headlights didn't dim anymore. but when pushed hard it runs red hot! and shuts down in @20 minutes. Strength:
Plenty of power for my needs. I'm pushing two 12" MTX 5000s with it bridged (8ohm subs) and there is more than enough power. I can turn the gain way up and there is a little distortion, but not much. I do have to keep it down so I don't rattle my '79 Bronco to pieces or go deaf. I like the crossover (HP or LP) and the bass boost (12dB at 50hz) and the ease of installation. It hasn't gotten real hot on me either. Also features protection circuits, anti-pop, etc.
Weakness:
I haven't really found any yet, except that it will dim my headlights. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a reasonably powerful amp, but not wanting to dish out a lot of cash. Great for pushing subs if you don't need gobs of power. It will push any small to moderate sub set up though. Good sounding and all that. If you do need like more than about 250 watts RMS you might look at a bigger amp though. I love mine though. Similar Products Used: Haven't used any others. |

Strength:
Its cheap, looks good, good with highs and mids. The way you hook in your wires looks cool.
Weakness:
No bass boost on low pass filter(?). I bought this amp against my better judgement, and now Im returning. Heres the problem. The low pass filter works great but it sounds like you cut your power in half when you turn switch it to low pass. THe reason is because the amp doesnt implement the bass boost. I tried different configurations but the only way I can get my bass boost to come on is with it on full range. If I only saw one amp then I could say it was a fluke, but my girl friends is the same way, no bass where you need it. Why in the hell would profile do such a thing. This amp does work great for mid and highs thoug. Similar Products Used: Im switching to a kenwood Kac-626s, we'll see. |

It pushes really hard, and is cheap. It is just as good or as better than any amp I've ever had.
Weakness:
It has no weaknesses at all. Best amp ever. It is the best amp ever. It pushes really hard. Some people say it distorts when you turn it up, but it don't at all. It pushes really hard if you bridge it at 2ohms. I recommend this amp to ever one, beginers and professionals. I got it at a really good price $50.00. I kinda swindled it from him, if ya know what I mean. Similar Products Used: It is just as good as Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Crunch, and MTX. |
