Bass Boost, which provides alot of bass. Gain seems to be dailed in pretty good. Bridgeable and is pretty stable at 2 ohms.

Even though its "pretty" stable at 2 ohms, when you crank it up really loud.. it will sometimes cut out on you, just turn the sound down for a second wait til the amp kicks back in, and crank it back up.

I started out with a sony cd deck and a wire coming out of my 6 1/2 rear speakers to a paper sub. Then I went and bought 2 MTX Thunder 4000''s and my friend let me use his Pioneer Premier X-220. I''ve had lots of amps before.. but this one seems to take the cake. It pushes my Thunder 6000''s harder than the sony and the Fosgate amps.

It is a Premier Product from Pioneer, so it has a two year warranty, and features that are not found on other models. It is easy to setup and use (I.E. wiring it up and setting gains, volumes, etc...).

It is rather bulky for the amount of watts it can put out (I guess I have seen smaller amps handle more power).

I first must say, I am a Pioneer freak. My whole car is outfitted with their products (go or bad). I have a Pioneer Premier DEH-720 head unit and the amp is used for two 10 inch Silver Series Premier Subs in a custom box. I wasn't looking for "monster" bass to rattle my car apart or to vandalize the neighborhood with. I just want to give my sound system a cleaner, more defining sound. I must say that the amp provides the 10's with the power to do that and beyond. The amp was originally set to the two channels, and produced ample amounts of wattage to the tens to get a clean sound, but after bridging the amp out, the bass hits harder, and is more responsive.

If you are looking to spend minimal and get a quality, good sounding amp, I suggest going with this one. I can't say how it handles for 12's, or at 2 ohms, but at 4 ohms for 2 Pioneer 10's, the amp is enough to what I was looking for.

I like that it is a clean amplifier.It is pretty good for a begginer amp

i dont like that it doesnt have a whole lot of power behind it, its unregulated power supply, crossover only goes to 50 hertz which is good for tens but not twelves. at high vloumes when u load the amp down to 2 ohms (very high levels) it somtimes will cut out.

I would recomned this amp for one sub that is just above entry level quality, i push two twelve inch jl audio 4 ohm w-o subs and it hits aroun 135 db which is pretty good but those subs are entry level and i know i can do better then that with a bigger amp. the amp overall is pretty good quality though you do spend a l9ittle more on then say a kenwood.

Pioneer is way clearer and its crossover is better they are pretty close in price and i would say that pioneer kills it i have had one before and its not even close to as good as the pioneer. Sony makes an amp i mnot sure wich model it is but i know its rated at 200 watts and i think it would have more power then it but its not a clean sounding thats for sure
