Model Reviewed: Nakamichi 8001

Strength:

very powerfull 1 ohm stable subsonic filter parametric EQ SLAMS HARD!!

Weakness:

can get hot, but it's normal for the amounts of power it gives!! it,s expensive

i have this amp hooked up to a 15" Type R Alpine sub wired at 1 ohm!!! yes it's stable at 1 ohm. and the bass hits very hard with good SQ.this amp has a parametric EQ that can really help you when you use a sub in a PORTED box.in a "GOOD" installation this amp dos't shut down even at hard driving conditions.also it has a adjustable subsonic filter that is usefull for ported boxes.i recommend this amp to anybody that needs 1KW RMS clean power @1 ohm!!
