Well im driving two 12inch MTX subs and it seems to want to destroy them,
and thats at only 1/2 gain and im loosing 1.1 volts!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN ANYONE IN THE U.S.A TELL ME ABOUT THIS AMP?
it was never released here( too expensive $2100 australian dollars!)

damn cheap considering the 1000d retails at $1800 Aussie dollars, to weak compared to your yank cash

well it certainly pumps out massive power, i just need to find subs to match this animal.

i had a MTX 2300 and it seem to outpower it significly, i also tried the on my mates pox 12inch boss subs and completely blew the paper cones damn amplifier i have to buy him 2 subs.

Hits really hard, pushes 2 10' MTX subs no problem.

It drained my car battery because the automatic shutoff was busted on it. Evidently it was on recall, I sent it in and got a new one that works fine.

I would recommend it to anyone, but be sure that it shuts off or you'll be walking to work in the morning.

It is small in size but can pound anything you can throw at it (a 15, 2-12's, 3-10's)

Like most experiences I've had with MTX amps (Thunder 405) they seem to heat up very quickly

I would recommend this for a mid level system and if you really just want to punch your subs and give them a meaningful life. This little toughguy will do the trick.

TINY and HUGE power, doesnt get WARM.

Ugly. "Classic" look doesnt really go with anything.

AWESOME! I hate the looks of it, but its lightweight and TINY and POUNDS. $300 from a friend who runs Audioflux. WELL worth it. It could look a bit more..interesting. Oh, and it doesnt get warm at ALL pushing my 2-12" MTX 5000's @2ohm. And mines rated for 639 instead of 500 on its birth certificate, so expect to have lots of extra power!

I run 4 10" mtx 6000's at 1 Ohm a piece, and this amp has no problem pushing it out. it barely even gets warm after a long use. For the amount of power it puts out, it is small as hell. Previous to these, i ran a single jl auido 10w6 which absolutely screamed!!!

It was the best $480.00 i ever spent, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I've got 2 12inch Kicker Comps..This amp hammers them......Without a doubt the best cross breed amp out.....

I viberated my LED light off.........thats what happens when u pound 2 kickers like this amp does......

I paid aboug $550.00 after tax....In my opinion this amp is the best amp u can buy in the 500 dollar range.....I highly recomend this amp to anyone that wants a small power plant.......

I have two image dynamic 12's and this amp pounds them. The amp never gets hot and doesn't let power off at high volumes. It is rated at 500 watts. this amp should be 1000.

It has no weaknesses.

I bought this amp for 500 dollars and it is worth every penny.

Geen,what did i like about it?lets see 414 x 2 at 4ohms,rated at 250,then 678 x 2 at 2ohms,rated at 500 watts.This amps really rock my subs,my whole truck on my zx2 now rattles.

Well,i know have a hearing problem i think,and i have to buy new subs to!!!!!

i paid 500,and its the biggest amp i have ever used.and let me say,i have seen people come out of there house just to see what all the fuss is about.i must say this amp really rocks,but i need a crossover.:(

Fosgate punch amp

This amp pushes my Rockford Fosgate Punch DVC's almost over the edge. For the first time in my life, I am wlmost scared to ride in my car with all of the power that this amp pushes out. I have never heard an amplifier that pushes out as much power as the 500d does!!

Haven't found any yet!!
