Sounds great. Best buy around. compact.
Weakness:
Been happy with it so far. The amp is a great deal and a great sound. For people who load their car with 2 12 inch subs and an 800 watt amp, your spending too much. This might sound ridiculus, but my friend got just that in his car and all I have is 1 10" Kenwwod DB+ series sub hooked up to my small 280 watt amp and mine sounds better. If thier is one tip I can tell people it is to get thier audio installed by proffessionals and not some worker at a franchise store. The differance of getting things installed by proffessionals is the reason my small system sounds better than "show off" systems. Similar Products Used: None |

Clean sound. Great SQ. Puts out twice the power rated at (according to birthsheet). Has NEVER cut off. Compact, fits under the seat of my Ford Ranger.
Weakness:
I have had absolutely no problems or complaints with it. I plan on using it for years to come. I have had it for almost a year. I use this amp to power a set of Boston Acustics components. I would defininatly reccommend this amp for running mids and highs. I wouldn't use it for a sub because I'm a power monger and use 3000+ watts for those ----->(digital designs). Very decent amp. Pushes my Cerwin-Vega 10 very nicely. Its nice and compact- great for small trucks.
Weakness:
Gets a little warm, but not bad. It was free, but it would be worth a "sale" price in my mind. Deserves 4 stars overall! 5 Stars for Value(for me atleast)! Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Lots of power. My birth certificate said 69w x 2 at 4ohm or 119w x 2 at 2ohm
Weakness:
Not reliable. The amp never turned off the whole time I used it until it died. When it died I wasn't even working it hard. I never dropped lower than 4 ohm bridged. I am very disapointed. It only had a 3 month warranty since I installed it myself. It was very pleasing when I used it. First I used it to power one 10. It blew that 10 (a cheap crankenstien-like sub) and so I hooked up a pair of 8 ohm 12" speakers from about 20 years ago (CTS brand) and it was amazing. I set of several car alarms with this setup!! Next I hooked up a single PPI C2 12" 4 ohm .. that was a really good setup.. I like this sub. Even just one sub and I got lots of good bass. Next I hooked up two 12" 4 ohm crankenstien-like subs (in series!) and it sounded pretty good but that's when it died. I plan to replace it with a 4 channel amp. Oh yeah it was good but it didn't last much longer than a year so if you buy it get a 3 year warranty!! Similar Products Used: Lanzar Vibe 240. Apex Senior. Peavey CS400 (not a car amp, but compared). Almost as good as the vibe, not as good as the apex senior (house amp) and not as good as the peavey (big surprise :P) I haven't tried many big brand amps. |

Very very very very powerful for its size and ratings
Weakness:
None, may get a little warm but don't all amps do I have two MTX 6000 15's and this thing pushed them with no problem... Look at the ratings and do you think this amp could push some 15s? I kill these 15s but the only problem is.... I don't really have a "trunk", have a hatchback and I want to point them at the window but I have to get another box for that. These 15s almost knocked the wind out of me before lol... Similar Products Used: MTX 4000 10s |

VERY STRONG, Pushes me 2 12 inch MTX 6000's HARD, It's small and compact so it's not a big space user like larger weaker Amps that I've seen. HEY it's MTX so you CAN'T go wrong with it.
Weakness:
None that I can imagine mine works perfectly whenever i turn it on. This may be funny but, When I was having my 2 12's and my amp installed, This guy next to me was getting a BIGGER SONY amp that was more pricey and it didn't even hit as hard he bought 2 12's as well and didn't look very happy with the results but I was nice and complimented his system anyways....even though MINE TOTALLY BLEW HIS OUT IN BASS. Strength:
It is very powerful, rated to push 325 watts bridged but I thought it would be aroudn 500 watts but the guy at Circuit City said that it would be even more than that. I heard a MTX 102 push 2 12's and that is smaller than this one, and it sounds strong enough to get you a full body massage. Perfect for the MTX 6000's.
Weakness:
Get's hot quickly, but doesn't cut off. I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants very strong bass cheap. If you bridge it, run a sub that runs around 300 watts RMS. I have two 10's soon to be two 12's soon and they will pound. I will have them bouncing off of glass so the bass will get even stronger. These things can beat 15's if you power them right.
