Strength:

Price, performance and features like 5volt sensitivity ( some other brands have only 2.5volts), rca outputs, remote sub boost, high and low crossover adjustments. Large cast heatsink. Was able to talk to a real person at their tech support - even if I do not believe their dubious specfication claims.

Weakness:

Does not have CEA ratings to verify the Lanzar unbelievable rms wattage ratings, when you compare their fuse size to watts possible. Small spade terminals difficult for using larger gauge power wires. Input sensitivity adjustments should go up to 8volts or more for newer head units ( even the budget Jensen amps have 8volts and Eclipse head units now have 8 volts). I would be willing to pay a little more for CEA rated 110db s/n ratio and .01 thd (has 90db and .040) with better power terminals from Lanzar. Replace the 16 disco lights with numerical LED power meter

Great amp for the price (approx.$84 US). More than enough power for reasonably efficient non-competition subs. The heat sink is large aluminum one-piece top and sides cast unit, which overhangs the terminal ends; and should alleviate the need for a cooling fan. Also has gold-plated outputs for connecting the signal to other amps. The input sensitivity adjustment goes up to 5volts, which helps with adjustments from high-end head units with 5 volt preamp outputs. I do not like the small power lead screw terminals for 4 or 8 gauge wire, as most consumers would not have access to a crimper for that size wire gold spade terminals. They should have large allen-key socket holes like their Opti series. I am only using one 10 inch Infinity sub, but the 100wx2 @4ohms-PLA2380 Pyle amp (made in the same factory+larger fuse) we used in a '96 Astro Van easily drove two Pyle dual 4ohm subs, with dual 70oz. magnets each; hooked up one to each channel, with parallel wiring +to+/-to- on each sub, which gives you a 2ohm load (stereo stable @2ohm) and doubles the wattage to each @200x2. I questioned the two 15 amp fuses allowing allowing the wattage of 2x300 @4ohms. The factory tech said that the new Mosfet amp they have is more efficient, hence the higher wattage rating. In reality, wattage is still volts multiplied by amerage, and this amp would be closer to 14.1 volts times the 30 total amp fusing; then 80% of that , as most fuses might be 20% over the amp draw = approx 170x2@4ohms rms/ 340 bridged- 423 max to Lanzar fuse size. Higher-end amps that I looked had 2 or 3 times the fuse size with these watt ratings, and six times the watts per channel, when bridged e.g. Massive amp @40wx2=250 bridged with a test report. I would prefer a Massive or McIntosh amp for sonic quality on mids or highs, but the prices are 5 times as high. I don't think that I could hear the .04 h.distortion vs. the .01 in more expensive units on a sub at reasonable volumes and I still think that this amp is unbeatable for a budget sub-driver at this low price/features, providing it lasts as long as the Pyle has.

Rockford, Alpine amps many years ago. Pyle 2380 amp / Pyle dual 4ohm subs. I now have a Kenwood KDCX879 head unit with 6x9 Massive competition speakers in the front doors of a Nissan extra cab pickup, with Lanzar 6x9 triways in enclosed jump seat cavity enclosures for rears and one sealed 1030w Infinity sub. I found it was best to be patient and wait for boxing week sales as I paid approx, half-price for everything.
