The 1200D is a well built amp for subs. It may not be the most pretty amp but who wants looks when you have power.I have pushed 4 kenwood 10's and blew 3 of them within the first week. I have since upgraded to 2 Alpine type R 12's and it pounds!. You really have to know how to adjust the X-over settings depending on the sub and enclosure that you are using. This makes a really big difference. Have been pushing this amp at a 1ohm load for over 9 months with no problem.

Excellent Amp... Gobs of power, my old amp hit really hard at 300RMS per sub (2 JL 12W3's) but this thing is wired at 1OHM so it puts approx 600 Watts RMS to each 12w3. All I could say was WOW... I had used many other more expensive amps(ie. RF 1000BD, JBL 1200.1 etc.) and they just couldn't compare in either power or efficiency. Truly a great amp with excellent signal processing for the price. Definitely the next best thing to the OPTI series for lanzar!

Cheap Very stable at 1ohm Doesn't overheat Connections are easy to work with Can power just about anything you throw at it.

It's so powerful, it's too tempting to crank it up and rattle my truck apart. Althought it's not the prettiest amp, who buys an amp because it's pretty to look at. When you pull up next to someone and want to tip there car over from the dB's your puttin out, who cares what it looks like.

Ok, I haven't had time to do any SPL tests yet, but to give you a run down on my system, I've got a Pioneer dehp4000 headunit, Kicker 4x6's all around, two new punch he2 15's, and my new lanzar 1200D running at 1ohm. The 15's are in a sealed box made of MDF with 2.5 cubit ft per speaker. I actually built them with 2.9 per speaker, but when you drop the subs in, you lose .4 cubic feet. I ran 4gauge cable with a 100amp Fosgate ANL fuse, and I have the ground cable bolted to my frame. The setup is great. Since the amp is running at 1ohm, I'm pulling the full 90amps at full load, and I know I'm pulling that much because I blew all of my 80amp inline fuses on my power cable within 5 seconds of cranking it up. I went with the 100amp and it solved the problem. The amp is rated at 1200watt's RMS at 1ohm, and it sure sounds like it. I can rattle my walls in my room 2 blocks away. The amp doesn't get hot, even at the 1ohm rating cranking out 25~40Hz notes at near max volume.

it's seems to be it's not really stable to 1 ohm.If it is then u must power it at least 13 volts if u go down to 1 ohm.The amp does not produce low frequency as this gentle man brian said" i don't think so he is on crack.Remote punch bass is a nice gag very nice look but very low affect on bass.

Lanzar vibe is a good amp for the money.it's true this amp is power full but this amp has a problem to go into protection on high volumes" specially if u go over 1.2 ohm.The amp is louder but it's not cleaner.I have had at least 4 diffrent amps such as"BD1000a1"crossfire BMF1000"MTX mono block with 1000 watts and a sound stream it was bridged on 1 ohm.I bought this amp when i read the test report of this silly guy brian.this was my mistake and i would not recomend this amp to a person who goes down to 1 ohm and want some sound quality'otherwise u will cry.If a name brand company f=u=k= u up because of price then there was reason because of there research and development.lanzar is good for a person who is above averge but lower then a class listener.The amp doesn't like low volts don't even try to go under 10 volts otherwise it will produce so much distorction that can kill ur subs and u may assume the amp is too powerfull when u see ur sub moving so much with weird noises.ALL mono amps are power hogs' an extra battery is required to run these amps.I would say spend once but spend on class" now u know what's good for u.these are my findings and i don't rejects other peoples what they say' maybe mine could be the bad one but let's let it repair and see if i could do it a little better.!!!!!

I bought a 1200d amp at wholesale, 155$. At first, I had it on a 15 inch cerwin vega dual four ohm voice coils, 500RMS/1000MAX. I blew that. Next, I put a 15 inch Audiobahn, svc four ohm, 600RMS/1200RMS. Then I had it on a 15 inch L5. The first was a dual 2, the second was a dual 4 ohm speaker. It blew both of those. During all of this time, I have never had the amp at more than 2/3's level. I have yet to have a problem with the amp. I have not blown any fuses. At first, I thought that I might have been underpowering the subs. But they were moving so much and hitting so hard that that was nearly impossible(The L5 was moving 2 inches out of the box). I have had it hooked up correctly every time. After the first Cerwin Vega, I even took it to Sound Advice to make sure everything was hooked up right. So it has to be overpowering the subs. There is no way that the distortion is blowing the subs, partially because the amp has been at 2/3's every time and the s/n ratio is < .1%. So, believe that the amp is putting out the watts it says it is. Even though Lanzar is not a very respectable product, this amp is.

Oh mY lord, I have owned many many amps for different application. This one blows them away. WAY too much power. I blew my three 10w6's too pieces, twice. Ripped the surruonds. OUCH. I then switched to alpine type r's and they seem to handle the power a little better. Advice is too turn the amp down!!!!!!

THIS AMP IS AWESOME. I have it running two Rockford Fosgate Punch Power DVC 15's and have this amp running at a 1 ohm load. Its rated 1200 watts @1.3 ohms RMS. i had this amp in an 87' accord hatchback in a sealed box with no help from a bass boost or capacitor and running off a 6 yr old pioneer and hit 148.6Db! I have since upgraded to a ported box and a new pioneer premier head unit and am well into the mid 150's. I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants serious bass. Also,although this amp is black and its running at a 1ohm load it rarely goes thermal even in 90-100 degree weather this amp is definately the best bang for the buck any where.

Value Looks Performance, if a**wipe that dissed this amp at the bottom of the page would have actually turned the adjustment knobs on the amp you can easily make it where you cant hear voices through the subs, you probly had some monkey doo subs, go buy some Bahn''s

I have nothing but excelent things to say about this amp. I give it a 10, i basicaly stole this amp for $250.00 new at Now On Special. I have two massive Audiobahn AW1205''s ,180 Oz magnets dual 2 ohm coils i have it wired in series so ive got a 2 ohm load on the amp, the amp puts out 800 true watts in a 2 ohm load and even at that it pounds so hard i can feel my chest cave in, needless to say i dont have the balls to wire one sub in straight to create a 1.3 ohm load on the amp. My ears couldent take it or my truck.
