very powerful,
Weakness:
A bit on the big side and also only does 4ohm bridged. I have had this amp for around 6 years now and it has never let me down, i have run 2x12 jl w3's and then 2x15w3's off it and this amp will make your subs move and like me may even blow some of your subs lol. |

This amp can be ran at 2 Ohms. I have had it running that for almost a year now on two 12" Kicker L7s and it still sounds great.
Weakness:
Amp will shut off at max volume with some of the bass testers that i have. Great Amp. |

The amp is classified AB. So its the best in its class for kicker, yet were still not talking class D. I would rate it as a worthy amp for competition in stock class only. I have it hooked into a L7 12 solobaric in a vented 2.5 ft. box. I've hit 143db. Not bad for a single 12 aye?
Weakness:
This amp has been sent to kicker for service once. This is not an amp to you can drop below 4 ohm. Unless you want to send it for service. Amp looks like an oversize heat sink, but what amp doesn't these days. Similar Products Used: jl audio 12w0 hooked to a kenwood 629s amp. Yeah, no comparision, the secret to hitting hard is finding the freq. resonance. & listening to that sub in whatever demo or install and that will usually be what you like. I chose kicker for cosmetics and spl. |
