ZX7500
Strength:
Gobs of clean power, brushed aluminum, not too flashy LEDs, good terminals.
Weakness:
Huge power hog. The main reason I bought this was because I was able to get it at an amazing price on eBay...just $152.50 shipped. I had previously had a Hifonics Nemesis NX600, I didn't have it for more than two weeks before it got stolen, but I really liked it when I had it. I tested this amp out on my brothers subs since mine got stolen and it made those things pound even at low volume. I took the liberty of blowing all the spare speakers around the house after that...and let me just say...let the cones fly! The power ratings seem accurate if not underrated and the glowing LEDs add a nice "not too flashy" look to it. The remote bass control knob is a neat little accessory which suits the amp well. The heatsink is a brushed aluminum finish and very nice looking. The only problem I noticed is that this thing will drain your battery fast...as a matter of fact if I turned it up too much on a song with alot of bass, my battery would drain in under 5 seconds at idle. Maybe it's just my alternator or the fact that I have a small battery...but hey with 1000w RMS from a class AB what do you expect?
