This amp rocks. First of all, all these guys that say it is a piece of junk are only pissed because it blew their cheap subs out. This amp is so much better than any other comp. amp I have ever installed. and I have been in the buisness for a looooong time. I have never had an amp push any sub like an audiobahn. Even audiobahns cheap stuff is better than Pheonix Golds pro comp crap. Stick with a real amp, audiobahn makes em'. Audiobahn might be a little expensive, but it is worth every penny. Overrated my a**. Audiobahn products are only takled about so much because they're that damn good. I was that 17 year old pimple faced kid who went into the buisness, and now I'm almost 30. I just recently installed a system with 1 10 inch audiobahn 2000 watt rms sub,in a vented box, and using this amp, It will blow away any cheap A** Phoenix gold system out there. Also, look at the people whom have posted bad ratings on this amp, and try and help them learn how to spell third grade words correctly.

phoenix goldxs6600 does not even compare, that piece of crap company is screwing you when they sell you an amp. just go to PG's site, I have had a PG amp as listed above, and all it did was clip the hell outta my subs, even with a 5 farad capacitor.

I have 4 hollywood excursion 12"s in my car, Every body that gets in my car drools. This thing is amazing, I must hit at least 160. I paid $1,500 bucks for my whole system, And it sounds better than anything ive ever heard , And belive me, Theres ALOT of systems in detroit. If you find a better system, It must cost at least twice as much. Overall this has got to be the best god dam amp on the market. Hands down

Well, this thing is really underated, cause it is like 1600wattsRMS at 12.5 volts, so at 14.4 it is up near 2000, it never gets hot and i have it at 1ohm mono. It hits EXTREMELY low and hard!

This thing draws a LOT of current, Granted i only have my stock 90 amp alternator. But I have a 1 Farad digital Tsunami cap. I can be driving along at 2,500 rpm and turn it up and the cap is complety drain and the voltage on the car is near the red within 30 secs!! But, other than that,there are NO flaws

This thing is just great,I have it ran to two audiobahn aw1500's. I use to have two eclipse 8715's, which are 15" subwoofers with a alpine v12expert MRV-1005 series amp, and now literally i hit 4-5 times as hard. I have had people listen to me and this one guy out side of the vehicles, they said it was close and he had 6 15" rockfords, not sure what kind of amps though. but this other guy up in westfield,IN had 6 jlaudio 15w6's with two Rockford 1000a2 amps, and i was out hitting him also. This thing is insane. When i am driving past my friends houses they have trouble hearing their televisions. I am honestly shocked that two 15's can be this loud. I also have just slaughter these two other guys, one had two 15" strokers, and one had two 15" eclipse aluminiums, the guy with the strokers had like 2 1200watt ppi amps, not sure what the eclipses had running on them. And on top of that, when i drive down the road even in the ghetto where everybody has systems,lol, people start coming out of their houses and looking whats coming down the road before i even get there! I get about 6-8 compliments a day, Even on the interstate with windows rolled up i see people glancing back at me and they have their windows up, i just don't understand how it can be so loud just off of two 15's. Also i have hear HCCA's and they don't compare, i am well over 150db with a cheap 1/2" box.No dynmat either. Although i only paid 500 for mine, i would still give it a 5 star value rating for the retail of 1000 dollars. Buy it, but make sure your subs can handle it, my smell if i play too much low bass, lol. If you go for audiobahn subs, i would get two 1505's on this amp! The only people i wouldn't recomment this to is people on a budget, cause you have to cough up some cash for these and for subs to handle this amp. And you will need a capacator and a bigger alternator most likely.lol

I have heard tons of amps, and so far nothing compares, lol. And I don't live in a small town, some of those people in small towns hear some 12's and they are amazed, I live in Indianapolis, IN. There is around 1,000,000 people here, and tons of systems!

i have a a2200hc hooked up to two aw1205s. its hitting at 157db. this combo hits so hard that it ratted the exhaust loose on my truck. if you want some real bass you need to try audiobahn.

I have one of these amps bridged to 2 ohms mono (1200watts) going to a 15 inch Stroker in a Dodge Intrepid. It hits over 140 with the back seat in. I am not sure what it hits without. I had this amp hooked up to 2 ALUM 12's running 1.5 ohms mono in a mustang. I hit 147db before blowing both subs. It was more impressive with the 2 12's than the 15

First off all You need to Invest in some real power. something that isnt so overrated like audiobahn. You need to get the balls to spend the real money on some real quality and cleaner sound like soundtream or pheonix gold. for the money you can by an soundstream class A 1000 watt true power and a SS rubicon to run your mids and tweeters. if your gonna pay a thousand bucks get something thats worth it. And for their subs, its almost impossible to hit 180 somethin Dbs with only one sub like someone else wrote in their review Get some real subs that dont distort and will last you instead of blowing up like their cometitor series subs with their 360 oz magnet. although it might sound impressive and catch your attention, my Soundstream subs will blow that POS away and for a better price. And your gonna need to spend a thousand buck just for a cap large enough to keep you battery alive

Overall, Their products are only for looks and will put a large hole in you pocket from haveing to buy new ones all the time

Ive gone through 3 audiobahn amps to run 2 15in Soundstream spl170 subs. Just proving that they are overrated and suck. Ive had a Soundstream Rubicon Class A 10.2 for almost a year and its never once been a hastle for me and I Push it to the xtreme.

Audiobahn's biggest customer base is through flea markets. Exaggerated power claims, but not too bad (RMS power at what distortion rating, Audiobahn??)

I also build my own home and car amplifiers...big ones. Audiobahn is NOT garbage, their lowest speaker lines beat a lot of big industy names in terms of SQ. Build quality varies among products, but none of it can be compared to Pyramid or Rockwood poop. The circuit boards in their amp are fiberglas and gold plated..the parts are near top-quality, but this is a different price point. It's not aimed at the serious competitor, it's really opened up a different sort of competition. Some of their stuff is more flash and the gaudy meters get people laughing at the amps, but it's not THAT bad. They put out some clean power, and that's what people want.

I usually listen for SQ in any amplifier in my house. I have an A/B box that compares equal gain driven amplifiers (In this case, the Audiobahn and an Xtant 3300c and then against my own amplifiers) in one quiet environment. I disconnected the fan in the Audiobahn I auditioned and then listened. It sounds fine to me - very solid bass and clean highs. I did notice, during testing, that the internal crossover is somewhat ill designed. It is apparent that the engineers cut corners here. While it isn't necessarily audible, the damping of the crossover varies with frequency adjustment. Basically, this is the rate of roll-off. You would notice it when using an RTA in testing. Just use a good crossover (not Audiobahn, see above comment on varying build quality) and be done with it. Buy it if you want a huge chrome and gold thing in your trunk. It looks impressive and it certainly sounds impressive, too.

I hate this amp. it is so weak. it is supposed to be like 1800 or so. but it was rated at only 1400 watts when someone i know tested it. i tried the Crossfire 600D amp. That is 800 watts and it was a whole decibal louder. This amp is for show or to show off. It is worth the chrome and gold and stuff. But it is not for competition. i am using the Crossfire W15D sub. it is awsome. But my amp right now sucks. i am getting the Crossfire 1000D as soon as possible. the big Crossfire 1000D was two and a half decibals louder. thats a lot in car stereo stuff. don't bother with this amp. Get a crossfire. I am a firm believer of them. I garentee the Crossfire 600D will beat anyother 800 watt amp out there. and the 1000D can be bridged with another amp to make one huge powerful amp. Go crossfire. Not audiobahn. I had the my car metered and it was 143 with the audiobahn. 144 with the crossfire 600D. and 145 with the 1000D amp. that was before my new alternator. so i don't know how loud i will be with the 1000D amp. just don't go audiobahn. they suck. bad. thanks. lol.
