Infinity 7541A 4ch amplifier
Strength:
Very big on power, amp looks very classy.
Weakness:
also very big on size. may pose a problem to some users concerned with space. A friend of mine bought the amp originally, but ran into hard times and offered to sell it to me for 100 bucks. I installed the amp, and it surely makes a huge difference. My last 4 channel amp was an MTX (MTX still makes excellent amplifiers - mine only had 1/2 the power of the infinity amp, though), and the infinity just really dishes out the power. My head unit is an Alpine, built for sound quality i.e. there is no internal amplifier and you have to have a four channel amp, it has a copper chassis, and will shut off all electronic devices just to improve sound quality. My speakers are Polk Momo Carbon fiber series speakers, 2003 models. The infinity does nothing to blemish the sound quality of my other components. I would reccommend this amp to anyone desiring high fidelity sound reproduction, even at very high volumes. For most users, a smaller 4 ch. amp would probably do just fine. Similar Products Used: MTX, Alpine, Kicker, Audiobahn (I normally hate audiobahn stuff, but one 4 ch. I had from them really did rock the house....) etc etc etc |
