None. This has got to be the best amp ever!!! What I don't understand is how everyone is buying all these high wattage amps and spending crazy amounts of money on multiple amp setups with no quality. I have this amp driving a $550 set of mb quart 6 1/2" speakers in the front with good quality Clarion tweets. In the rear I have Pioneer 6 1/2" 3-way. For bass I have a high quality Viper 10" subwoofer that pounds. Bridged at 2ohms stereo. Definetley best, most versatile, impressive, not enough to say about amp I've ever tried!!! Similar Products Used: Rockford, old MTX gold competition amps, Kenwood, many many amps have tried but failed my approval rating although the old MTX gold was very impressive on the Orion subs, FYI |

speaker and wire terminals, they could be a lot bigger i've had this amp running, every kind of speaker and or subwoofer you can think of from 2' tweeters to 15' mmats juggernaughts, or ground zero's for over ten years. there is no amp out there this versitile, very very underated. they retail for around 450.00 which is crazy but i've seen them on ebay really cheap. this amp is like fine wine it gets better with age. do not buy if you want your nieghbors running for cover, buy if you want tight, clean, crisp sounding music. sure my son will put in hibbity wibbity music and i think its gonna blow my taillights out, but i explain to him its all about clairity, not constant booming loudness, thats what the monoblocks are for. Strength:
power, ease of conversion from old amp, easy to understand directions, technical support team, NO NEON OR UNNEEDED LIGHTS. I praise ADS for remembering that this is a amp and not a toy!
Weakness:
a bit pricey I have a very old Ph-15 that this amp replaced. So the Bar was already set pretty high. This amp not only reached the bar but it surpassed it. very quiet, just the right amount of power(I listen to mostly Jazz), perfect size. Strength:
Many strengths: - very quiet operation - very clean power - extensive crossover system - very versatile - the best sounding amp I've ever used
Weakness:
I don't care much for the adapters that I had to attach my wires to; it can be hard to fit decent gauge wires in there. This is definately the best and most versitile amp I have ever installed or used! a/d/s/ provides crystal clear power- don't let the low ratings fool you! A bit pricey but worth every penny. I ran an a/d/s/ 5.25" component set with the first 4 channels (1 channel per speaker) and the last 2 channels were driving 2 2ohm 10" Kicker XPLs. Everything ran perfectly without the amp ever overheating or any audible distortion at all. Similar Products Used: Kenwood, Soundstream, Rockford Fosgate, etc |

Strength:
Flexibility, power, and size
Weakness:
None Excellent amp had Sony and Soundstream that were stollen. Replaced 2 amps and seperate xover with on this amp. The amp is very clear and unlike the previous review i have had no problem with engine noise and power on thump. Those are usually properties of bad wiring and install. Have had this amp in 3 cars with no problems. Its small size allows me to mount it under seat without overheating. The amp has never cut out for anything. 4x40 to the front blew away a sony 2x75 and Soundstream 2x60, not even close. The crossover is better than any other amp made. Strength:
Flexibility. Power?
Weakness:
Audible turn on/off noise, cosmetically not the nicest amplifier in the world, paint chips relatively easy. Misleading labels on the output selectivity - the stereo/mono/bridge switch contradicts the intended purpose (bridge is actually mono, make sense?). Amplifier configuration: Similar Products Used: Soundstream Class A 6.0, a/d/s/ PQ10, a/d/s/ PS5, Hifonics Odin. |

1996 Camaro (2000 model amp)
Strength:
Flexibility, CLEAN sound, underrated output, great crossover
Weakness:
requires careful and thorough install, not a mega-watt amp I love this amp. If there is an on/off thump, I've never noticed it (doubtful). It is so clean pushing my polk EX components and coaxs, it's absolutley stellar. It is the perfect amp for almost any car to run the whole system, especially if your priority is sound quality. I have 44x4 going to the satellites and 5-6 bridged to 120 on my single 12 and with the top up, it sounds fantastic. I wouldn't buy another amp to replace it unless it were a (bigger) McIntosh. Once properly adjusted (that did take some time with the crossover and my EQ) it doesn't clip at all. If I wanted more volume, I would buy a quality 1/2 channel to run my sub and run 120x2 to the fronts and 44x2 for the rears. But it sounds great as is. You cannot go wrong with a/d/s if installed meticulously. Could be cheaper but I'm willing to pay for quality. Similar Products Used: Alpine, Fosgate |

Strength:
Audio Clarity and lack of noise
Weakness:
instructions were not the best. Using it with two sets of 344is (have loved/used a/d/s since early 80's - remember 320i's and P100 power plates?) and a pair of fosgate mid bases (pretty lame speakers). Similar Products Used: Nakamichi, Rockford, Sound Stream |
