Nissan Xterra SUV | Crossover

Nissan Xterra SUV | Crossover

DESCRIPTION

Pros:

  • Off-road skills are the real deal
  • Strong V6 engine
  • Rugged exterior looks
Cons:
  • Outdated interior design
  • Embarrassing fuel economy numbers
  • Rides like a truck -- choppy and bumpy
Ruling: The Nissan Xterra is perfect for all of your outdoor excursions beyond paved roads. And it will carry all of your gear better than a pack mule.

The 2011 Nissan Xterra is the Paul Bunyon of SUVs. With its rugged exterior, powerful V6 engine, and an interior suitable for carrying all of your outdoor gear, the 2011 Xterra is the right tool for when the going gets dirty.

The Xterra features a distinct “multi-flex” interior with an abundance of useable space, storage and convenience features – including an available Easy Clean cargo area, a tie-down channel system, 10 cargo hooks and an available built-in first-aid kit.

New enhancements for the 2011 model year include the addition of body side moldings to Xterra S, the addition of a standard first aid kit and rear tire deflector on Xterra S 4x2, the addition of a white-faced meter cluster on Xterra PRO-4X, and two new exterior colors: Lava Red and Metallic Green. One option package is available for 2011, the PRO-4X Leather Package.
