The S FWD is equipped with a standard 2.5-liter, I4, 170-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The S AWD Krom Edition is equipped with a standard 2.5-liter, I4, 170-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.

Model Reviewed: Nissan Rogue

Strength:

nimble handling, great looks, good fuel economy

Weakness:

horrid quality and reliabilty, POWER STEERING FAILURE causing an accident, ENGINE MALFUNCTION light, failure to start after it was started 5 mins earlier (all this was within two days of getting the car from the dealer NEW)

I had this car for 2 days!!!save yourself some stress and aggravation and avoid the rogue, 2 days in driving in -10 weather the engine malf light comes on and the car doesnt start after it started 5 mins earlier, then the power steering light comes on indicating power steering failure, this later caused a minor accident in a parking lot as the power steering suddenly turned on-NIssan dealer and Nissan Canada refuses to fix the bumper, they cannot find the problem behind the starting and power steering and claim there was no code that indicated that the power steering light came on, HOrrid customer service combined with a problematic car and I can tell you I will never buy a Nissan again.
