good gas mileage
Weakness:
noisy front-end on bumpy roads This is a pretty nice vehichle over-all. When we test drove the car I guess we could'nt hear the noisy front end on bumpy roads. On good roads you can't hear it but Honda needs to figure out something for this car to be less noisy under the front end on bumpy roads. |

Fit and finish, very solid, handling is excellent, history of reliability... it's a Honda!!!
Weakness:
Some road noise, subwoofer doesn't have much kick. That's about it. I owned a 2002 Ex for 4 years and did not have one problem. I got a good trade and decided to buy new. I love my Honda. It feels secure. So far I'm averaging about 25mpg combined driving. Similar Products Used: 2002 EX |

Interior- The heated leather is the bomb as well the steering wheel controls. I had read some reviews saying the controls were too close together for bigger people but I'm 6'2" and find I'm lost without them when I'm driving my other vehicle.
Weakness:
As much as I love the car I have to peaves that are major peaves. I'd still recommend it but it's somethingyou'll want to consider.
My wife and I had a Civic that we loved. When we were expecting our first child we decided we should upsize. The CRV was a perfect fit for people like us who needed more room, didn't want the costs associated with a full-size SUV and weren't ready to be "Mature" and buy a minivan. After having the CRV for almost two years now (Mar 09)we both agree that it's a perfect vehicle. It's been large enough for the two of us with and our new baby (born in June 07). We've travelled with it, carried home supplies during renovations on our house (we fit a 36" bathroom vanity in it and were able to close the hatch)and have had no problems fitting groceries in the back as well as the stroller without having to put down the back seats. The all wheel drive is absolutely fantastic in the snow,,, and we've had it through a ton. |

Lots of big & little storage for a family. Comfortable. Great gas mileage. Just an all around excellent, smaller SUV and WELL worth the money!!
Weakness:
Needs to be a little wider and a tad more leg room in front passenger seat. The Honda CRV is an excellent, smaller SUV. We are a family of four and it suits are needs perfectly. Comfortable seats (my husband is 6' 3" and the seat adjusts higher or lower), great turning radius, good gas mileage and lots storage in the rear. More importantly very low maintenance! Just keep getting the oil changed and it'll run forever. Similar Products Used: None |

Reliability!!
Weakness:
Needs a bit more horsepower. A little scary when passing on highway. We use it now for in-city driving only. I have owned a CRV for 6 years now. It has about 96,000 km on it. The number one strength of this vehicle is reliability (you'll hear this over and over again in reviews here). I have never had to do anything but oil changes on this vehicle - not even a headlight or a brake pad has had to be changed yet. We bought it because owners here raved about the reliability of Honda vehicles. After 6 years I can tell you from experience it is absolutely true. It still drives like brand new.

Everything! It's so cute! I love the features it has. There are so many. Plus, it's a Honda - you can't beat that. The 6 disc CD changer is great. I also love how you can monitor the fuel economy while you drive.
Weakness:
The only thing I can think of, and this is pushing it, is that there is no room for change in the center console. I guess the gas mileage could be a little better. I have noticed it has improved a little since I got it, so I hope that continues. I average around 19 mpg, but I basically do all city driving. I absolutely love this little SUV! It's so much fun to drive and just an all around great car. I love the exterior as well as the interior - so classy! It looks as if it costs far more than it actually does. |

All. Good 6 CD changer Player. Btw FYI, it also plays MP3 files if you record it on a regular CD-R/CD-RW...that way you don't need an MP3 player...but ofcourse having AUX input is a plus!
Weakness:
None so far. Except a little more horse power would have been great...but thats not a complain...since you don't notice the difference! Excellent SUV! I just love it. Very quite and no noise at all. Ws looking between Toyota (V4 engine) to Honda CRV. I didn't like Toyota's shape as compared to aerodynamic shape Honda CRV 2008 model has. Also I hate the spare tire which show on the back of Toyota SUV's. The Honda's got rid of the spare tire from the back from 2007 and now it looks amazing. Above all the seats are excellent, no complains and It gives me 24MPG combined and on highway easily bewteen 28 and 30 MPG. Similar Products Used: Nissan Sentra 2002. |

Strength:
Great size; pretty good mpg; can carry a lot of stuff; with new tires pretty quiet; 4X4 when you need it good in snow; very solid feel; set up high; outside full size spare; comes with 5 custom wheels; nice power sun roof and roof rack; power is real good for a 4 cylinder; great head lights; in dash 6 CD changer; a 300 lb guy fits in it pretty well; roomy interior; plenty of room in the back seat; and they fold down seprately;
Weakness:
My left foot and leg could use 2 more inches of space and a flat floor board on that side; should make the driver seat more adjustabel; When the oil is changed they always get it on the cross member when they change the oil filter, and it drips in the drive way for a week; I grip at the mechanics every time....Honda should put better tires on in the first place; I have to agree with some of the others; we were ready to trade it off, before putting the new tires on at 20,000 miles; but are very happy at present 40,000 miles and will keep it for a lot longer... This is a great little vehicle, the milage could be a little better (~27@70MPH) but over all good. Great resale and a good solid feel, side air bags, plenty of options and you can really put a lot of stuff in the back! Just short of a truck...ha! You set up good and high for the size. By the way our's had the road noise problem...we were about to trade if off, but needed tires...put some pretty good Michelin's on...it's like a different car....We could not belive it! The tires were where 98% of the noise came fom! My wife and I are very pleased with the SUV. Similar Products Used: We also have 2000 Ford Explorer, the only thing it has over the CR-V is 2 inches of foot space for my left foot......man I really need that....too! |
