Ford Flex SUV | Crossover
DESCRIPTION
Pros:
- 355 hp 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost engine
- Roomy and functional cabin
- Innovative list of standard and optional high-tech features
- Third row seating with legroom that fit adults
- Easily identified styling
- Less cargo space compared to others in same class
- Standard second-row bench seat doesn't slide
- Expensive EcoBoost and additional option packages
New for 2011 is the addition of a new Titanium model. It slots in above the previous top-end Limited trim and starts at just over $40,000. An expensive proposition for a family SUV. However, for the money you get all the bells and whistles the Flex offers, including standard navigation and a power liftgate, plus a bunch of blacked-out exterior features that make the Flex look even more bad-ass than it already does.
The 2011 Flex comes standard with front-wheel drive, while all trims except the base model have available all-wheel drive. It comes in several trims -- the base SE, SEL, Limited and all-new Titanium.
