300zx Twin Turbo
Strength:
-engine design -stock turbos are very durable -beautiful design -low cost to purchase compared to other sportcars
Weakness:
not a whole lot to say here... -some people will say the breaks on the Z32 are the weakest point but that is just not true...for street applications, the brakes are good...if you want to track race, you will need to switch in some slotted/crossdrilled rotors, some racing brake fluid, better pads, ect...but this is true with all cars, not just the Z32. my only beefs are with: -space to work on engine is very limited but it also makes it more of a challenge which is fun. -price of mods is high, especially for turbos and other big mods. The 300zx is one of the best designed cars for the money you will ever find. Nissan techs did a very good job on this car. There is not a lot of other cars where you can drop a grand in to it and have a useable 400hp at the crank. I first started out with a '92 N/A but the darkside pulled me in so I sold the N/A and bought a '90 TT. The car is beautiful, handles with the best, and stock still pulls very hard. Drop a couple grand into it and you have a seriously fast car. I bought my car for 7200 dollars, dropped in 2 grand to get it running good, pulled the engine and dropped in bigger turbos for another 2 grand roughly. Upgraded to a few other mods. Havent gotten a chance to take it to the track or dyno yet, but I expect to be running mid 12s. 11 grand for a car that is fast as hell and beautiful is a very good deal. Of course some will say that the supra is better, but the truth of the matter is the Z was built and designed better. Similar Products Used: 1984 Porsche 944 1992 300zx N/A |

Supra TT
Strength:
Power Handling Timeless styling Doesn't look like a Supra
Weakness:
Expensive to mod In my mind the 300ZXTT is the best car ever built. Insanely fast, nothing can touch it. I sold my TTZ and bought a Supra TT, but it cannot compare to the legendary Z. I may come off as a wiseguy and say the Supra is the best car ever, but deep down inside I know the Z is King and hang out on Twinturbo.net all the time. Similar Products Used: Toyota Supra |

Twin Turbo
Strength:
My TTZ does EVERYTHING well! With the modifications I've done, the power is numbing!! All aspects of handling are superb. The cockpit is, in my opinion, the nicest I have ever been in, and it's completely driver friendly. Looks are timeless!!
Weakness:
IF you take care of your Z with proper maintenance, weaknesses are few. Abused Z's will require alot of attention and even more $$$$$$$. These cars are expensive to maintain. If you're under 25 years of age, insurance may hurt you bad. Be forewarned. The only other issue I have is visibility. Rearview and C-pillar views are very limited. Use much caution. Short of exotic cars costing in excess of $75,000, this is one of only a few cars I would even consider owning. Others would be a twin turbo Supra and Z06 Vette!! The car in stock form is formidable, but drop another 5 grand into performance modifications, and for just over 20 grand, you've got a 450+ hp car with amazing power and a car that rides as though on rails. The looks, in my opinion, are timeless!! The 'WOW' factor on streets and highways is insane. If you look hard and are patient, you can still find TTZ's that are in excellent condition. You WILL pay a premium to get one, but if you're into performance driving, you will not be disappointed, and it will be well worth your hard-earned money!! Fun machine to drive, very little service needs, Great styling still.
Weakness:
Bose sound system. I purchased this car new in 91 and have not regretted it for a moment. It is by far the nicest sports car I have ever owned and so far nothing has come along that makes me crave a change. Similar Products Used: MGG, TR6, TR7, RX7, Dodge Challenger |

Looks , handeling , power , comtarble, car of the year . Looks better than the new 350 Z. Not play ou , faster than my 85 corolla.
Weakness:
guzzles gas and back seats arent that useful. My car has eibach springs which drop the ride a lil bit and the front body kit makes it low to the ground which makes it a b---tch driving in dips. I bought my 1991 Z 6 months ago and paid $5000 cash with only 90k miles , fully loaded , leather interior . I have spent over $10000 on adding a west wing body kit which i bought at www.wholehyper.com for only $240 , best price i found and i search everywhere ,plus i repainted the car to a metallic black . For 1991 car is great , the design is a classic after many years it still turns heads ,i had an old men at a gas station come up to me and telling me that my car looks great. Its fast stock , and a lot of mods are available to make it faster. T-tops are fun in the summer especially if u live in southern california like do. babe magnet? I havent yet found a chick that even knows what kind of car mines is. Mostly guys likes it. good price deals , you can buy a pretty good Z for about $7000 on average , and their not play out . I paid $5000 cash for mines , now where can i get a realieble true sports car with looks and exellent handeling for that much? All i have to say is that i love this car and i highly recomended. Similar Products Used: 1985 toyota corolla , that was my first car , i still own it and i love it , even though it takes one minute to hit 60mph. I went from a corolla to a Z big difference , but highly satified with both c |
