DESCRIPTION

The Mustang has been redesigned for 2010. Fresh new sheet metal wraps around an updated interior, giving the icon a more modern look and feel.

The Mustang is available either as a coupe or convertible. Each is available with a V6 or a V8. The 210-hp 4.0L V6 carries over unchanged. The 4.6L V8 receives an increase in power - producing 315-hp for 2010. A five-speed manual transmission is standard; a five-speed automatic is optional. Strength:

Looks, Power, handling (after changing from factory tires to Toyo's)

Weakness:

Power, yes I said power was a strength, but it really does need a little bit more. Wet road handling Trunk space

I have had my 98 V6 for just over 2 yeas now, I love it. No, it does not have the power I would have liked it to have, but we must remember it is only a V6 with like 190hp. I have done some modifications to my Mustang, including exhaust, mass air, stereo upgrades. I am even planning on entering my car in shows. The Mustangs are very beautiful sports cars, and the perfect symbol of American muscle. My next car will most likely be the GT or even the Cobra. Handling in the winter has much to be desired but for me it is worth struggling through the snowy months, just to have this car. My Mustang is bright blue and a real head turner, I would not trade her in for any other car. It was defiantly worth the money, you get what you pay for.

Strength:

Very good power; smoother than I expected, and more comfortable than expected. Handling is better than expected-very good, even in rain. Breaking seems to be fine, and hard/fast turning on circular off ramps is very, very solid. The Mach 400 is more than adequate for Metallica. It doesn't play MP3, though.

Weakness:

All weaknesses are minor. The engine doesn't roar when accelerating, as I expected, and doesn't rumble like I expected it to, but no big deal. Some moderate enhancements can change that in a heartbeat(in other words, the muffler is too good). The shifter is not solid. Very minor weaknesses-> cruise controls not visible at night. I'd like the headrest to be several inches forward. It's a sport bucket seat, though.

The car handles very well, even in the rain. It is more comfortable than I anticipated, from the reviews I've read. It has about as much power as I expected; tremendous power, no supercharging necessary. It's flaws are minor, for the most part, except the shifter is not real solid/hard to find gears and lengthy distance between gears; I may purchase a high-performance/racing shifter. I'll give myself some more time to get used to it. Cruise control, and power locks/windows, plus remote entry are excellent conveniences.

Strength:

Ability to invoke feelings of jealousy towards fellow drivers who do not have the privilege of owning such a wonderful piece of machinery.

Weakness:

Don't like the cup holders...not ergonomically desined at all. Not very good handling in heavy rain.

I love my pretty pony! It is fire-red with tan cloth interior, has a manual transmission and a rear spoiler. In my opinion, Ford Mustangs are truly beautiful cars, a real piece of American legend. Because of their sporty good looks and competitive pricing, they are the best all-around pony cars on the market. Especially now since the Mustang's main competiton, the Firebird and Camaro, are being discontinued. Small wonder, they just couldn't compete!

DONT HAVE ANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have the 6 cyl coupe in auto. Its been my main ride since Memorial Day 98 and I have 63K on it. Still get 31 MPG on hwy driving at 75-80 MPH. Got rid of the lousy Goodyear Eagle Tires that caused me to slide all over the place and bought high performance Michelins. Works great in snow and ice when add 150 lbs of weight in back. Hey, its a rear wheel drive. Thinking about a 2003 GT but have to think hard because this is a fantastic ride. Also still on the original brakes, and I change oil every 3-4K religiously. Also, only car I have that my dog does not fight me when go for ride. He hates my Dodge Van and Toyota truck. hahaha Had a 69 Boss 302 Coupe in Chartreause before and put 21K on it in 6 mos back in 71-72. Sister had a 64 in CandyApple Red. Almost owned a 67 Shelby but was 17 and could not afford it.

Strength:

Exterior is suprisingly good. Love the low end power the 4.6l produces and the power top works well. Also it rides great for a sports car. In addition this car is well priced for all the features it comes with.

Weakness:

The biggest weakness of this car is the interior. There is way to much cheap plastic and parts are not lined up correctly. Also, numerous rattles and squeaks are heard on even smooth roads. Also, very disappointed in the 460 mach sound system. Even, at low volumes the speakers pop and of course rattle the doors. Mechanically the vehicle is okay, but the auto trans. clunks many times shifting up or down, typical of a ford.

Bought this car about 2 months ago. Pratical sports car with a great engine that produces a lot of low end torque and allright high end power. Great for the average person.

Just traded this in on a 2002 SS Camaro and believe there is no comparison. If your willing to spend a little more, can guarantee better quality with the camaro.

Alot more options in the 2003 models then the 2002,s Better exterior color options as well as better top options.Glass rear windshield, lots and lots of power.Absolutely breathtaking.

Weakness:

bucket seats are a little thin around the waste, and it is a kind of hard to get in and out of,a little bit too small for my tastebuds but what do you expect??? its a sports car, I mean come on. It rides alot smoother then the last Corvette I was in.

I just purchased this vehicle for my wife and it is a great car. At first I was kind of hesatant to buy it, but I thought what the hell you only live once right? Well anyways I when I drove it for the first time I fell in love with it.My parents used to own a Mustang, but that was in 1964 when the Mustangs first came out. That was a great car though. They have really enjoyed it.

Adequate V6 Good Ride Quick Nimble

Weakness:

To be determined

Don't let the muscle heads fool you. The V6 performs quite well. It is sporty and very nimble. People need to keep in mind this is not a race car. It is a street car. I've had my share of V8's in the past and with todays traffic it's difficult to find a road where you can really open one up and have some real fun. This V6 will get you in and out of traffic just fine. Mine is the mineral gray color scheme and I get looks and compliments all the time. When you vehicle looks good people really don't care what you have under the hood anyway

Seats, a little high on frame.

Bang for the buck is correct! Bought it from this guy who only cared for the engine(SYNTHETIC OIL 15W-50 AND KN OIL FILTER EVERY 35000 miles) New shorty headers, free flow flowmasters 2 1/2 no cats. The body sucked though. Obtained a paint job, NOW it looks better.

The car has 45k easy miles on it and today the dealer just ordered the 4th brand new from Detroit, differential. Something is seriously wrong here. The first one did go almost 36k miles, the 2 others 9k. They must be making them in China.

Looks good Good sounding V-8

Weakness:

seating position dated feel overpriced

Test drove this GT recently. First off, don't waste your $$$ on a V-6 mustang. There is no point. You get an American made piece of crap WITHOUT the only enticing reason to get a mustang.....the rockin' V-8. Get a V-6 import if you don't opt for the V-8. The V-6 isn't sporty and is basically a joke. Now on to the GT. It wasn't broken in but I would pass on the 2002 and wait for the new revised models to come in. The seating position sucks.......way too high. Engine is good but not as ferocious as a Z28 Camaro. I liked my '92 LX 5.0 better than this 2002.
