Strength:
Love the power sliding door, great engine
Weakness:
Beware of the headlights!!! Not bad overall but the headlights have a manufactor defect and the plastic lens cover just falls off. G.M. will not recall, Check your headlights before you leave your driveway today. It will be a $250.00 mistake. Same problem with the Chevy Venture and the Pontiac Montana. |

Great styling.
Weakness:
Brakes could be better. Should have discs in the rear to improve stopping power. We have owned this van for two years know and have about 17 k miles on the clock. I had looked at every other van at the time and found this one to offer the most for the money. I might have considered a Honda Odyssey, but dealers were price gouging at the time. Also, found one major problem with the Honda. My shinns hit the bottom of the dashboard on the passenger side. Looked at the Toyota Sienna with high hopes, but by far the most cramped van inside. Since I am over 6' 3" head room, legroom and footroom were great considerations. This van was the only one to have ample foot room and a smaller wheel well on the passenger side. A real pleasure to be in the passenger seat especially since a power seet is also included. My wife drives it every day and myself on the weekends. She does nothing but tell me how happy she is with it and I agree. Unfortunately, Oldsmobile made the announcement of only making cars for another four years. That is why I wanted to submit this review to comment on our positive experience with this product. Similar Products Used: First van. |

Strength:
The best things about this vehicle are the engine and ride(self leveling suspension).
Weakness:
Build quality is disgraceful. The exterior panels fit very badly. We have been back to the dealership a few times to have trim and electronics problems fixed (side trim loose, interior rear AC/audio console loose, traction control system fault prevents vehicle from starting). Also, when the outside temperature gets above 110 degrees the adhesive on the strip around the front windshield melts and it separates from the windshield when driving at highway speed (even after repair at dealership). We will have to think very carefully before buying another GM vehicle. Good looks (white/gold package). Powerful engine, good transmission and excellent ride. Huge amount of interior space. Terrible interior/exterior build quality. Ubiquitous gadgetry susceptible to malfunction. Poor gas mileage around city. Similar Products Used: None |

poor dealer support and workmanship from San Antonio dealer. Looks good and rides like a car, not bad for the wife. Alot of seating choices and they remove easily.Very poor interior trim and plastic.Window controls, door panels loose and broken.Glove compartment hinges broken, dash is coming unglued, CD player stopped working after month long trip.Has electrical problems won't start some times, have to wait 10-20 minutes to restart. While driving the AC's-radio-windshield wipers-tach-speedo will quit and loose power!Replaced altinator,AC,blowers,EGR,computer, coils, harmonic balancer, sensors.Paint on roof peeling on and on.What a pile of crap. Similar Products Used: Chevy G-30 van that worked great for many trouble free years. The Trans Sport is like a stationwagon compared to the G-30 which the wife likes. |
