Strength:
Good horsepower. Gets up to speed quickly. Easy steering. Nice interior. Cool lookin key. Double glovebox. LOTS OF CUPHOLDERS(15 to be exact)!!!!
Weakness:
EVERYTHING else not mentioned in the strengths. . So make sure you read all of the review summary We've had the van for a year and the barrings and breaks have been replaced and are still junk. They grind and squeak terribly the closer you get to the light or stop sign. The tires leak air regularly which make the van pull to the left or right depending on which side is low. The driver and passanger floor gets REALLY HOT even after turning the heat off to the point where you have to take your shoes off. The spare tire is under the van in the middle. If mainly women drive this, how are they suppose to get the tire if they have a flat?!? The side vent windows in the third row close by themselves from the vibrations of driving. The tires are an uncommon size so mechanics sometimes don't carry them, so usually you have to order the correct size and of course play the waiting game for them to come in. The doors freeze shut everytime it's below 20 degrees and living in ohio that's not good. The drivers seatbelt just pops out at random. Which I think this problem was recalled. There are pleanty of other problems. I BEG WHOEVER READS THIS DOES NOT BUY THIS VAN. IT'S A LEMON!!! AND CHRYSLER REFUSES TO ADMIT IT. It makes me never want to buy a Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler for fear that Itll just break down. BUYER BEWARE |

After paying $800 to replace a defective fuel pump ? None.
Weakness:
After 46,200 miles the intank fuel pump developed a short, requiring us to pay the dealer $800 to replace it. The front brake pads had to be replaced at about 12,000 miles. I replaced them with Bendix premium pads which still have over half the linings left after over 34,000 miles. And forget towing even a small camper trailer. We tried towing a 16" camper and turned back home before getting 120 miles from home, fuel mileage was 7.25 MPG with trailer, 23-24 without it.When the fuel pump went south, the best we were getting was 14mpg in normal driving. I would never recommend this product to anyone. Chrysler should have been allowed to go belly up two years ago. Similar Products Used: this was our first and last Chrysler product. |

Strength:
nice looking, ride, power options.
Weakness:
Absolute worst defrost system I have ever seen. Nav maps out of date when purchased. Mileage is 20 at best. Nicest van I have ever owned and wouldn't buy another one. Defrost system is an absolute hazard that Chrysler won't acknowlege or do anything about. My own fault. The van like this that I test drove before ordering this one was outside with frosted windsheild when I started it. Didn't think anything of it when it didn't defrost all the way in that situation. Really wish I would have. Especially upset that this isn't a "big enough issue" to make Chrysler come up with a fix. |

tires, brakes replaced after only 25,000 and then need to be done again 15,000 later, bad ride, I have had problems since I bought the car the brake and rotor situation is ridiculous and was told that its common for this car replace brakes and rotors every 15,000, it is robbery!! backed up air condition so that my floor mats were soaked, it took 3 times to get it fixed. Wheel barings gone at 31,000 miles, radiator cap at around 12,000 I could go on and on!!! This car is definately a lemon! |

Strength:
- Standard equipment and optional equipment the most amazing collection we've ever seen in one vehicle
Weakness:
- Fuel economy still should be better 8 model years after our 2000. It's only a couple MPG better than what our old van was rated. Hopefully highway mileage will be good
We have been Chrysler product fans for over 12 years or so. Not because of the brand name or even the desire to "buy American" (whatever that means in today's globally-linked world where PT Cruisers are made in Mexico and Town and Country's in Canada). No, it has been a combination of styling, value for the price, and utility. As a result, our new 2008 Town and Country Limited is our 4th Chrysler product.

tons of room, smooth comfortable ride, all kinds of upgrades, fun to drive, very stylish inside and out.
Weakness:
gas mileage is not great, and navigation system doesn't allow you to find something while the car is in motion I love my van!! I previsously owned a 1998 Pontiac Transport. I'm a busy mom of three and seriously, I'm over the whole minivan thing. But....we still need one for now. I did not go with the swivel and go because the three year old was having trouble climbing in and out while the seats were swiveled imagine the difficulty with a 7 and 8 year old. Plus, those seats have to be physically removed, they don't stow even though the room is there. I am happy with this decision. I have no complaints about this van except it does seem to suck more gas than our last van, however we are driving around town more because we love driving our new van. The kids love it, with a push of a button they can let themselves in or out, it makes for dropping the kids off at school so easy. They also love watching the Sirius Satelite TV and our preschooler loves to watch all her favorite DVD's. I was able to get two extra wireless headphones from the dealer which makes it so easy with the kids. We have not plugged the playstation in yet, but we will be checking that out soon too. The navigation is awesome, however it doesn't let you look for points of interest while the car is in motion, this ticks my husband off as he is the passenger trying to find a new Indian food resturant for us to check out. This van offers so much storage, sleek design, it has so many bells and whistles we are still finding out new things that this van can do. I love that I can check the tire pressure on each tire, view the temperture, as well as see how many MPG I am currenlty using, all with the touch of a button on my steering wheel and I can view the data in my dashboard. I am averaging about 15 around town, my friends dad has his own mechanical shop in Colorado, he told me I would see better gas mileage the more I drive it and the more the parts get lubed and broken in. I've never heard this before, but I'll go with it. I did order the "slush" rubber floor mats for the van because of the kids tracking in dirt, sand from the playground and soon enough snow. I cannot wait for our roadtrip to Texas to really see how well it does then. I am over the moon happy with this van. My husband is too, I forgot to mention that I purchased this van while he was deployed so I was really nervous to get his reaction. He loves it too. I would strongly encouage someone to purchase this van if their lifestyle calls for them to have a van. You can't go wrong. Similar Products Used: 1998 Pontiac Transport |
