If you're lookin for a fast cheap car, that's reliable, buy this car. although i've heard complaints about jettas, maybe the gli's are immune from this? Mine was. But anyway, I'm talking about that short period before they changed the design completely but added a body kit and those beautiful wheels and red brake calipers

the stereo had really weak bass, I guess you could fix that with a sub, but still. low ground clearance, coming out of parking lots with steep inclines is a challenge, but maybe that's just me...
and oh ya the place where most U.S. sold jettas are manufactured is also a downer... I wish they all just came from Germany.

Great car. loved it. wish I never got rid of it. Only wish I had the manual because those are like .6 seconds faster in 0-60

Loved this car sorry I let it go, (for an R32). smoth car very stable at tiple diget speeds, fair brakes.(brakes fade after a workout) small on the outside but big on the inside. Fantastic on gas milage but will bite you if you have a lead foot. Loved loved loved this car.
