Rides nice, handles nice around corners, looks good.

to many problems for a car with 8300 miles. Nice looking car, however I had an amplifier burn from the Monsoon radio. Air condition water drain inside car and damaged electrical for headlights, interior lights, power locks, windshield wipers and much more. Current problem is when it rains the car will not accelerate over 35 mph and make a loud moan sound. Dealership unable to duplicate problem and fix. Similar Products Used: 95 Grand Am, 98 Sunfire |

fuel injector, seats not terribly comfortable. We have been unhappy with this car since we purchased it. It has been in the shop twice for a fuel injector problem and once for the turning signals malfunctioning. (this has recently started happening again.) There is also a strange squeal coming from the drivers side of the car. It isn''t very roomy either. Similar Products Used: None |

The insrument panel is very lively, and the car has some get up and go to it.
Weakness:
Where do I begin. The warrenty ran out on this vehicle shortly after I purchased it since it was used. This is when everything started going to hell. If you try to turn the radio down the volume goes up and vice versa. The back to windows have scratchs running down them because of something in the door panel. Sometimes the drivers side window rolls down and sometimes it doesn''t. The passenger window leaks, and the rotors have alreasy been replaced. This car creaks and moans so much, but the dealer says there is nothing wrong and thats just the noise it makes---kinda embarrasing because people always ask me about those noises. Once a week the cassete player reads as an error saying it needs to be cleaned. Not to mention this car is terrible in the snow. This car was a year old when I purchased it so I got a good deal. It felt sturdy and because I had previously owned a 1992 grand am that ran very well for me I decided to purchase another. Similar Products Used: 1992 grand am, 1996 monte carlo |

READ ABOVE To many weak parts internally, Where do I start, these cars are built very weak from the ground up, Since Ive had this car its had (2) waterpumps, (3) alternators, (2) power window motors both drivers side shot, window regulator drivers side, IT RATTLES AND SHAKES LIKE THERE IS AN INTERNAL EARTHQUAKE IN THE CAR< THE DASHBOARD THAT IS, I know for a fact, GM should have a class action law suit for the drivers side power window motor, and the regulators, constant promblems, car handles good, good acceleration, good sound system, GM didnt put the finishing touches on it, prbly cut corners to savea few bucks. loud, ugly front end What a great little car. I bought it with 180,000 miles on it as a second car. (my other car is a 1999 kia sportage). I bought this car for work and school...a milage car to keep my kia new. I found myself liking to drive it more than the good car! It''s got 219,000 miles now and runs like a charm. It needed new motormounts which cost 300 dollars. it''s a wonderful machine. Similar Products Used: none |

150hp for a 4cyl with 25mpg average is excellent. Looks sharp. Good control and solid feel. A/C, pwr locks, tilt, stainless exhaust, am/fm cass all come standard. Plenty of room. Comfortable and focused on the driver.
Weakness:
I''ve noticed a "clinking noise" at times when putting along in first gear.(I''ve read similar complaints from other owners) The A/C knob broke already. Wish I would have gotten cruise control. Warranty is only 3/30,000. Overall nice ride and worth the price. Many options come standard,,keeping the price down. Solid ride, good power
Weakness:
Seems a little lackluster in quality. Like, the driver side mirror adjustment knob fell into the door, when it was still brand new, the rear window weather-stripping wasn''t installed correctly, uhm. . . few other niggling things. Pretty nice car - We got a good deal on it w/ the GM Rebate Card, so we got $5000 off. This car has a really solid ride, very smooth, good power, nice feel to it. Best car I''ve ever driven, but then again, my last car was an ''80 Volvo. I''m getting it lowered in 2 days. :-D Similar Products Used: Other cars (''80 Volvo, ''85 Tempo, ''89 Dodge Caravan), never a sporty sedan. This is my first. |

Brakes, power, steering I think it is a great car as far as the looks. I''m just noticing the brake problem everyone is talking about. The one real problem for me is that I custom cars on my spare time and can''t find many kits and parts for it. I''ve put 10inch blue neons on each side of the back window and it looks great at night. And I''ve put more in to it but I won''t go thourgh them. I am now looking for parts for the engine to make it faster. But it will be hard. One tip look at Andyautosports.com for a body kit, it doesn''t look that bad. Similar Products Used: None |
