Nissan Versa Hatchback Midsize | Compact
DESCRIPTION
Pros:
- Price-value ratio is a strong consideration
- Smooth ride quality
- Four tall people will fit comfortably
- Engine drone with CVT
- Steering feel induced by Novocain
- Zero aspirations toward having sports-car like handling
The 2011 Nissan Versa is one of the lowest priced subcompact cars on the market. The Versa comes as either a four-door sedan or five-door hatch, both equipped with a 122-horsepower, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission. The Nissan Versa achieves 24-mpg in the city and 32-mpg on the highway.
The front-wheel drive Nissan Versa continues to provide excellent fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance or roominess. Versa features one of the highest standard horsepower/torque ratings and largest interiors in the entry-level segment.
