Strength:

Roomy small car, front and backseats. A very capable little cruisemobile. Trunk space is big enough. Can't relate on reliability, but this car is a keeper.

Weakness:

The dreaded orange glow instrument lights-hate,hate,hate.Iknow that small cars need to save weight, but a little added insulation in the firewall for nominal engine noise upon aceleration would be great. I know-nitpicky stuff.

I don't like driving small cars, but the sentra surprised me. The seating positions, the feet not jammed up by the wheelwell, and the roof height were just right. Most small car are geared to keep the engine revs up to make power on the highway, but notso with this engine, which is why I love it. At 65 mph with 3 adults and the A/C on, the tach read just under 2000rpm. The CVT transmission seems to be a no brainer in this car. Whenever I ride or drive a car I'm mindful of NVH. The sentra has low wind even at high speeds, normal conversation was possible. Road noise was very good, but could be better over exposed agrigate. I hate tire and road noise, but I understand that all cars can't be lexuses. The sentra might be quieter than the altima though.

Wow! I am so glad I chose this car. I have had it for less than a week and sometimes I just get in it and ride. The ride is smooth, and the performance is great. I would definitey recommend the bluetooth feature. I also love the plug to listen to my Ipod. I can ride and listen to music endlessly. I have mentioned the gas mileage - it superb! I have long daily commutes to work, and the Sentra makes it less stressful.

Awesome gas mileage. 30 MPG. Those are country miles too.

Weakness:

Only one. The tire pressure light comes on every time the temperature falls so many degrees.

I am on my fourth Sentra now. Unfortunately, my first one was totaled in a head on collison. My dad swears the front wheel drive saved my life. My family out grew the second one (it was only two door), and I just traded in my third one with over 180,000 miles. I love my 2007 Sentra. I test drove a Dodge Caliber and then went to drive a 2007 Sentra. Hands down the Sentra out drove the Caliber.

Eats up antifreeze quick. {maybe cause im in fl}

Great reliable car. Had it for our years and been running strong since day one. Only repairs i made were regular maintenance like tires. Check engine light just came on but shouldn ' t be big problem. I put over 60,000 miles on it and is still in great condition.

Horrible car. In four years and 76,000 miles I had to replace: tires and battery. Now, because of the antifreeze leakage, I need to replace the whole engine. I will never buy this car again.

Strength:

Great fuel economy (38 mpg)
Easy to drive in town
inexpensive to run

Weakness:

Ours wasn't speedy, but we'd rather have good gas mileage than racing skills.

We love our little car. We bought it with 15,000 miles from a rental place, and in the 10 months we had it it had absolutely no problems. For a while it shook a little at high speeds, but rotating the tires cured that. It was perfect for our little family of 3 and a car seat fit great in the back. Somebody stole it last month and we're probably just going to get another Sentra. For such a small car it was impressive!

Strength:

-Great gas mileage
-Handles great
-Low maintanance
-Good looks

Weakness:

-Backseat is small for adults (I don't care, I drive!)
-Original tires are unsafe
-Paint chipping on mirrors

I love this car!!! I've had it for about 6 years now and have put 90,000 miles on it. There is not a single thing that has gone wrong with it structurally. The engine still sounds like new! Still shifts smoothly, and the interior looks great.

The only cosmetic flaw is that the paint is chipping on the mirrors (plastic mirrors). I'm never selling this car, and my husband is going to resurrect it if it ever does die, so we'll get the Maaco special if it looks bad.

My only other complaint is that the tires that came with the car were crap and rated some of the worst. But they were quickly replaced and I ride with Kumos which I love, and Blizzacks in the winter, again, I love. I can ride this car through the snow while all the SUVs and trucks are spinning all over the place. We have 2 4WD trucks and we choose to drive this car in bad conditions, with it being a manual, it goes so much better in snow/ice.

Its quite a zippy little car, too. Its not a sports car but I can still whoop the ricer kids in their lawnmower cars. And I get about 30MPG city and 33MPG highway.

Loved the looks, peppy acceleration, handling. Great gas mileage.

Weakness:

Reliability!!!

Traded this car at 40,000 miles because of so many problems. Ate through 2 sets of tires, replaced sensors twice, pieces of trim, wipers, and doors fell off daily. After several repairs, it still wouldn't run. I bought this car hoping for a long life and it didn't even make it through the five years of payments.

Strength:

Reliability, dependability.
Fuel economy (I still get 42mpg)

Weakness:

Not very roomy and passenger seat not very comfortable on long trips.

Right away I knew that the "E" stood for "Essentials" (lol), because this car had absolutely no bells or whistles on it - not even a radio. It's the 4-door, 4-cyl 1.8 liter, 5-speed manual transmission model; and, all in all this car was (and still is) an absolutely
"super reliable" vehicle! I bought it with 182,000 kms three years ago (it was supposed to be my 1-year winter beater) and it now has 305,000 kms. I've replaced only the normal wear and tear and other common items: tires, brakes, muffler, shocks, alternator and starter. I've always changed the oil & filter every 5000 kms or so and it still runs like a top. It doesn't burn any oil, and this morning in the -25 C temperatures it didn't even hesitate to go. My only regret is that I didn't undercoat it to prevent the east coast road salt from eating it up, because I'm certain that mechanically speaking it could reach the 500,000 km mark. I look at the big picture like this:
$1900 + $1100 (maintenance)= $3000 and $3000/36 mos = $84/month . . . way cheaper than any car payment. This car owes me absolutely nothing!!
