Strength:

-Large trunk for compact. -Smooth ride and acceleration. -AC and electronics High Quality.

Weakness:

-Small interior. (I am 6'2 and this car is not made for me.) -4 doors don't look right. -Although engine is reliable, it has low HP. -Tranny is geared for smooth acceleration not speed. -Has electronic cutoff at 118 MPH.

4 Door 4 Cyl. 2.0 SOHC 135 BHP Keyless Entry Alarm Airbags RS suspension This car has been great. Had for almost 2 years and only problem has been bad battery and connections and an very hard stop broke a break pad but stopped the car. A little pricey, but mostly caused by financeing.

Strength:

--The seats are firm, but support well and are quite comfortable, especially on longer drives. --the A/C works better than on other cars I've had; it gets icy cold almost right away (this is a plus in hot Arkansas weather!) --ample trunk room. Not a huge trunk, but good for a small car. --It accelerates smoothly and fairly quickly. --good brakes. --All the things like handles, window cranks, etc etc seem like good quality, unlike on Chevy's where these tend to be quite cheap. --Very cute, with a sporty-ish look. --good mileage

Weakness:

--The car is very comfortable for a shorter person (I am 5'4), but I would suspect that it would be more cramped for a tall/taller person or someone with long legs. --the rear seats are cramped. --no center console space; only a cup holder. --I don't think my gas gague works quite right. --The "check engine" light has been on since I bought it, and the owner said it came on about a year ago but they had it checked out and there was no problem; not sure I would call that a weakness, but it's something to be aware of.

The car has so far been very good(only had for one month). Mine has keyless entry, power windows, cassette player, front airbags, a/c, but manual windows, not any other bells or whistles. Overall, compared to the other vehicles I have owned/driven a lot, this has been the best by FAR. It is a good-quality, affordable car.

Strength:

For two people to sit in the four door car it can be semi confortable. On the upside i was hit at a stop light by a new civic doing around 15 and it shattered his bumber leaving mine with only a few minor scratches.

Weakness:

If you want any more than two adults and a small small small child this is not your car. If you want somthing that could beat a garbage truck down the road this is not your car. If you want somthing that will get you attention this is not your car.

The car is a four door hatch back slighly bigger than a geo metro. It has a wimpy 1.6 liter $cl with one of the worst auto trans i have ever drivin. You can put the petal all the way down watch as the car still takes over ten seconds to get over 45. The engine block is slightly bigger than the battery. It is a mess under the hood as if the designers had no clue what they were doing under there. The shocks are horribly cushy for a car that is under 1200lbs.

Strength:

Hmmmmm good gas mileage, AC

Weakness:

Lemme see, just like one of the other reviews.. after they get around the 10 year limit, things start falling apart! I had the head replaced last year, and the poor car is now overheating, again.. and this time I'm not fixing it!! I have had to replace the distributer cap about 3 times, and the brakes are terrible now.. even after consistent maintenance..

This was a good little car, for strictly getting around. I had the hatchback.. enough space to cram alot of stuff!! And it was pretty comfortable for a 'little' car

Strength:

The size, good gas mileage, good heating and air conditioning. It accelerates pretty well and it's never not started.

Weakness:

It shakes badly when it idles, and the exhaust pipe is broken so it's really loud. Also, it goes really slow up hills.

I love the size of this car and how easy it is to drive, and so far it's been working okay. It has problems, but it's old and has over 97,000 miles and it used to be used for commuting.

Strength:

Hot purple color, great gas mileage, sportier than most people think, especially when it's small and purple. Pretty quick for a 4 cylinder.

Weakness:

The steering wheel felt really stiff when I first bought it, but I got used to it.

My car is the cutest, most reliable car in the world!

Weakness:

A little slow getting on the highway.

The best car I ever owned, very little maint. and it drivers great for a 4 cyl. I highly recommend. If you can find one used. I am sure everyone is holding on to theirs.

Strength:

not an ugly car. it's nice that this car is a four door instead of a coupe - makes it look a little bigger than say the cavalier or sunfire. reliable a/c unit, reliable engine, cheap parts, can easily be tricked out with a sc or tc. ideal college car.

Weakness:

my horn and ceiling light don't work but i was told by a mechanic that i know he can fix for $25 that is a cheap fix and the four doors are nice but i like to look cool in my car with the seat back so i try to keep passengers to a minimum.

both this car and the taurus don't get the recognition it deserves for their reliability. i have had this car for 3 years and it has almost 80000 miles on it. parts are ridiculously inexpensive and maintenance is also. people that have problems with this car are probably trying to treat it like a racecar, you have to remember it's purpose, economical. you can drive from here to monte carlo 8 times and all you need is 2500mi oil change regular gas, and maybe replacing fuel and air filter. all repairs were minor. people make me laugh talking about how they hate the car just because they had to replace brake pads or the car won't start on a cold morning - stop bichin!!

Strength:

240,000 miles and still running. Really good gas milage.

Weakness:

Ugly plastic grill, not that good looking. only 88 hp, hella weak up hills. Loud on freeway (thank god i have a stereo system) I blew the stock stereo system out, but it sucked anyways.

Well this is just an avg communter car. It is my 2nd car. It's decent looking (and black) and it has been reliable. My car however, has over 240,000 miles on it. The speedometer rattles and the defroster button has to be pushed down to keep it on. Other than that everything else works. I put a sound system in it, because i use this car to deliver pizza hahah. So i push the car somewhat hard, i also off road it (not in the mud). The only thing i had to replace is the heater core... it cracked, but during summer so i just bypassed so i could still use my ac. Anways i am totaly thinking about buying a new car because this tracer is getting old and boring.

Strength:

good mileage( not great as others claim). I get 25-27 mpg in the city and may be 28-30 on highway.) .good for parking in small places. nice curvy shape. easy to clean.good braking / good AC.

Weakness:

vibrates a bit more than japanese compact cars( but then those are 5 K more expensive for same age). I had to change the alternator at 34K, and 3.5 years.( car life)

i got this car in Dec 99 when it was 6 months old with 6K miles on it. It was a steal as it had lost almost 4K from the brand new price. its a nice car to drive / good power for its type.
