Strength:
Good Road Holding Great Handling Predictable controls.
Weakness:
No real weakness. Bought this used car(2 years old) with 1.6 Auto and ABS.... Looks small on the outside, but very spacious with ergonomic design on the inside. Feels like driving a much luxurious car .....seriously. Overall a very well built car. No regrets. Similar Products Used: Hyundai Accent, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Corolla. |

Strength:
- Good assembly, feels tight - Good interior layout, spacey for tall people - Good handling - Great Sales and Service
Weakness:
- road and engine noise is ridiculously high. I thought I would get used to it but looks like i will have to install noise dampening material or get rid of it. It is that bad. - Engine revs at 3000 rpms going 100Kmph (60Mph). Ridiculous. Gas mileage would be superiour with reduced revving. Protege's have great reputation for durability. I don't expect to have major problems with this make and model. Similar Products Used: Mazda Protege 1997 (way more quiet and lower revving) |

Strength:
economy price with quality interiors no/low maintenance great timeless design
Weakness:
Non for the price I purchased this car new while a senior in college because of it's "real" looking interior, comfort, but mainly price. At the time, Consumer Reports rated it #1 and best buy. My husband just totaled it in an ice storm at 134,000 miles. I am very upset over the loss. It was great car. No repairs except brakes, battery, tires, and plugs. Excellent handling in the Appalachian Mountains. It withstood the test of 3 kids, cats, dogs, gravel roads, and a farm. Best car I ever had. Will buy again without hesitation. Strength:
-very roomy, awesome trunk and fold down rear seats. -reliable
Weakness:
-lighting problems -easily dents Overall, I am very impressed with this car. I do have problems with the interior lights not coming on when the door is open. She drives very good even though she is slower than my '90 corsica. The car is very roomy and can fit 4 adults comfortably. It also has a large trunk. I havent been real impressed with the gas milage. All in all, it was well worth the money and my next car will definately be one of her relatives!! |

Strength:
Cornering, styling.
Weakness:
Stereo pathetic. I have upgraded all speakers, put in a 400w amp, bazooka and it's now decent. Lock button is right behind the door handle, which means you're always hitting it with your knuckle (locked myself out once with car running for 3 hours). Tires are hard to find due to odd size. For the money, this is a terrific little car. It handles beautifully, although the ride is a bit bumpy on rougher roads due to the sport suspension. It draws quite a few looks, since it looks like a customized car and there are still few on the road. Similar Products Used: VW Jetta, Nissan Sentra, Nissan Quest, Honda Accord |

Strength:
reliability ample interior space; huge trunk very reasonably priced reliability good pick-up for the engine size did i mention reliability?
Weakness:
stereo is OK, but the speakers are starting to short out occasionally. moderate road noise with stereo off My husband did a lot of research before buying this car, and it paid off. We have put about 75K miles on it in three years with no problems. We love this car! With 115,000 miles on it now, the only thing we've had to replace (other than routine brakes, plugs, etc) was an oxygen sensor. Fantastic value!! When this one finally dies, we will definitely be getting another one. Similar Products Used: none (i have only driven trucks and a 73 camaro before this car) |

Strength:
-Decent acceleration for a 1.6L -Economical -Attractive Design
Weakness:
-to replace a taillight bulb, you would have to remove the whole taillight assembly. -Small rust spots are showing up on the hood and one by the trunk. -some interior parts don't fit the way the should (one of the heater/AC grills keeps popping out). -Non OEM brake pads wear very very fast and the originals cost close to $80.00 a pritty nice sedan has a 1.6l Doch engine and an automatic trany. Other than having a stiff suspention, it's a comfortable, manuverable, and responsive car. Similar Products Used: 1987 Ford Taurus GL 4-door 1997 Civic DX 3-Door 1997 Civic LX 4-Door |

Weakness:
power from engine damn cupholders!! by far this is one of the best cars that i have driven. i love the way it can handle and i love the looks of it. sure it could use a little more power but if you want a car i believe you should build a fast car. the 2.0 engine is good and a turbo is already avaialable for this car. i would definetly recommend it to anyone. i love it Similar Products Used: s10 civic altmia |
