Strength:

Everything, where do i start? (when it was stock) it had Awesomely fast A/c, Wicked comfortable seats nice sound, beautiful styling (except for that trim piece on the exterior door)

Weakness:

Lack of back seat but i found out the 91 Civic hatch-back seat WILL fit with minor brackt modification (bend the dang thing with vise grips) Slight trouble (if you like to sit LOW in your seat) seeing out the back windshield.. thats all

Bought it about a year ago and drove it only a month before i decided it needed changes. big changes. I LOVED the way it handeled, looked, sounded, awesome acceleration, champion of burnout contests (300 plus feet spinning all of first *and* second gear, smoke EVERYWHERE) but i decided it could be even better. Purchased a Full body kit shaved everything (rain gutters, door trim, handles, logos),Frenched Licsense plate, Complete re-spray Viper Red GTS paint with Kameleon silver/gold metal flakes(they look more like glitter) 18" rims, euro lights, street glow, completely done up interior racing seats roll cage full audio system just done (3 18" Subwoofers- TIGHT FIT but managed with a triangle pattern)2 tv's in sun visors, PS2, lowered on airbags. b18c5 engine swap (integra Type R) Supercharged, type R intake, cams, racing pistons rods berings pins everything done. 301Horsepower 245Ft/lb torque (dynojet proven). Been off the road for 11 months while it was under construction, being put back on the road in late may early June. If you live on cape cod, MA you WILL see me (hyannis area) I drive it with the repair plate around the neighborhood and scare little children. all around perfect car from the beginning.

Strength:

Light, inexpensive to buy, gets great gas mileage (HF: 48/52 DX: 32/36 Si: 28/34), it's cheap on insurance, it's Honda!, vERy quick, and has the best handling out of all the cars I have driven so far (about 100).

Weakness:

NONE

WOW!!! What a car, I bought it with 201,000 miles on the odometer and it's still running strong on the stock engine. If you are thinking about getting a CRX, or like CRX'es and don't have one....GO GET ONE NOW!! I recently purchased a neuspeed upper front strut bar, (simply put the best strut bar maker for CRX'es) from NOPI.com for only $93.85 that's the cheapest on the web trust me. The strut bar improves its already god-like speed and handling. I'm just a sophomore in high school, but I can tell you I'm never going to part with this car. Good thing the car is so light and maneuverable, otherwise I would have been in a car accident this morning...

Strength:

handles well, many parts and mods available, stylish, it's a Honda, not much different than my integra!

Weakness:

no cup holders, no power windows or door locks, no back seat(convinient storage though), no cruise control.

I love this car. I had a 96 integra before and the two drive and handle very similar. The crx has less power of course but that can be changed very easily with a motor swap. im pushin 180,000 miles and running very strong on stock motor.

Strength:

The styling, great on gas, runs forever if you take car of it, light body weight, a born racer.

Weakness:

The suspension (your going to have to re-inforce the chassis with a front upper strut bar and a rear lower strut bar), the seats, no cupholders, no VTEC, very thin carpet, Honda parts cost alot for this thing.

I have owned my CRX for 2 Years, and for some reason I can't seem to part ways with it. The styling on the CRX has aged very well and has not lost it touch at all. But I had to update this car and bring in to the 21st Century, so i gave it a new paint job, but not the same color (which was a Teal Blue color). I gave it Honda's Electron Pearl Blue which can only be found on the 2000 Civic Si, the 2000 CR-V and the 2000 Prelude. Now Acura puts the color on some of their models but they call it a different color. Next i put a monster sound system with two 10 Inch JL Audio "10W3's" with a kick a** Pioneer Head Unit (7400). The next thing i did was put 15 Inch alloy wheels on it (195/50 R15 Z). With just these minor mods, your CRX has entered 21st Century without breaking the bank.

Strength:

Strong sport suspention. This car is very easy to modifiy and there are endless options available.

Weakness:

Isnt as nice as the Si model. The lack of a back seat is sometimes annoying. Prone to rusting just like every other import.

The CRX is a great car. I have had mine for over two years and havent really had a problem with it. I race this car all the time and the power to weight ratio is great.

Strength:

- Reliablility, dont ever buy a crappy american car, thes era of hondas are priceless, buy and civic from this era and it will more than pay for itself, in fact its worth more than its value casue it just keeps going!! -Fun factor, sunroof down, great handling, u feel like your in a sports car -Gas, laugh at all the indiots in there 8cyl SUV assuly vehicles, they waste there money on gas, you spend all the money you saved on what really matters in life: getting B*tches!!!! -B*tches love it, why? becasue it has style and its unique, non pretensious, and its cool, qualities chix look for! When chix see a guy in a monster SUV assualt vehicle they think ''samll p*nis'', when they see you in that sleek, yet humble CRX they think ''oh yeah boy gott it goin on!'' -potential, not that it needs it but u wanna hook it up theres plent of parts for it..also amazingly easy to work on yourself

Weakness:

-One B*tch at a time, thats right no back seat means one chick at a time baby- also very hard to get it on in this car, but very easy to get h*ad in it(which is what will happen if u drive one) -no cupholder or cruise control, but who cares your busy getting laid

The crx is a great car, I bought mine knowing it only needed a clutch..after that was replaced everything else is perfect it has 112,000 miles on it and runs like new, always starts still has power and makes long trips many times over..it loves to be run! the cars great on gas, low to the ground..if u have snow tires on this car you can fly past huge SUVs in snowstorms becasue they are so high and worried about flipping, meanwhile you are so low so u cout thru it...the car is practacal, yet very sporty and fun to dsrive

Strength:

Light weight car (88' Si is about 2100lbs, but strip the plastic and sunroof out and you can save around 150-300 lbs.) Easy to modify. Fun to drive. Race bread suspension. Did I mention 35 mpg Hwy?

Weakness:

Ummm, I don't think so. Just a bad driver, or the giant SUV's that run red lights! I dubed mine the "The Mustang Killer" He he...

The CRX Si is one of Honda's most impressive cars ever built. The 88-91's are my favorite's, but the 88' Si has an advantage over all the others, being that it is nearly 300lbs lighter than the 91 Si. I bought my car with 197,000 miles on it in August of 1997. An older couple owened it, and sold it so they could park there new SUV in the garage! It now has 315,000 miles on it, with the original motor and trans. The last 118,000 miles have been hard miles, and this car has never left me stranded. I drove to Florida from California and back without a hitch, and routinley take this car over 120 mph, just for fun. If you can find an 88' Si in any shape, buy it!

Strength:

Gas mileage, pick-up, style, storage space.

Weakness:

Rust and the fact that people want to steal it so often.

I love my Crx!! I will have to get rid of it in a few years when I have kids, because it won't handle car seats. It has been through the war and it still runs like a trooper. It has been in 2 accidents and has been broken into 4 times in 2 years. Now, the alarm system and the stereo are worth more than the car, but I don't want to get rid of it. It has been a very reliable car, and I would recommend one to anyone who asks.
