Honda support and warranty. At 16,000 km's, the transmission in our new 2007 standard transmission Honda Civic broke down. Honda claimed that this was due to abuse! This was absolutely not the case.

Weak highway acceleration, weak headlights, cheap interior fabrics and materials I loved this car more than life. It took some time to grow on me (I'd owned a V6 prior) but once I saw I was getting 40mpg on the highway and 28 in the city with the AC on, I never looked back! Awesome car, never had a SINGLE problem with it in the three years I owned it. Fun to drive (like a go cart) and when I was finally forced to sell it I got a very decent price for it. A+ in my book. |

4 Door Civic
Strength:
Excellent handling. Good console functionality for the driver. Attractive.
Weakness:
DOES NOT WORK WITH CHILD CAR SEATS. The back seat is not deep enough to fit rear facing infant car seats and in order to use a front facing car seat the front seat must be moved all the way forward and/or laid down in order to provide appropriate leg room for the child. Backseat is uncomfortable for adults, not enough room. Backseat is usable for short rides only. The Honda 4 Door Civic sedan is not appropriate for families. The back seat does not fit rear facing car seats and barely fits front facing car seats. Adults riding in the back seat struggle to stay comfortable on long rides. A few extra inches would have made this car perfect. Similar Products Used: Honda 2 Door Accord |

Strength:
Beautiful, strong, smooth
Weakness:
space on the back seat is quite narrow. I find it very annoying, but it might just be because i'm not used to a 2 door car. (I owned a toyota camry before this car) Overall, i'm very satisfy with my decision. The car is smooth and looks very sporty hott!!! also, i live in minnesota and i was quite worried that it will not drive well in the snow. This is the my first winter with this car and so far it is amazing! LOVING MY CAR! |

power. poor handling in the snow. not the smoothest ride. i bought this car 2 years ago from a friend. after having it less than a year i unfortunately had to drive to work on the worst day of winter and smoked a tree head on. drivers side. it did a bunch of damage, but in the middle of winter in my driveway, i straightened the frame and welded it all together and got new body panels and such and still driving strong a year later. since then the car has been driven across canada, been driven into (drivers door and repaired) and still going! has over 250.000 km and only mechanically ever put a timing belt/water pump on it. always starts, and never lets me down. Love that car Similar Products Used: pontiac sunfire, chev cavalier, dodge avanger |

roominess for a small car, good radio system, smooth ride, good gas mileage
Weakness:
I haven't noticed any yet. Thus far, I have really enjoyed my Honda Civic. I am getting 36 miles to the gallon. Also, my insurance went down $100 every six months. The car looks small from the outside, but is quite roomy inside. Similar Products Used: I had a Ford Mustang convertible until an eighteen wheeler ran into my car. I like the smooth feel and roominess of my Civic. |

Strength:
36-38 miles per gallon highway if you drive it easy (at a steady 70 mph). Looks nice and handles great.
Weakness:
The seat is a little uncomfortable after a few hours of straight driving; a lumbar support would be helpful in this (or a rolled up towel).
I bought this car as a salvage/rebuilt that was totalled from the rear. There was no motor/tranny damage; just body damage.
