Strength:

Power-V6 is better than thought. comfortable even with two screaming in the back-not often though they spill things on the leather. good sound system have the in-dash 6 cd changer. Styling is nice. looks good just standing still.

Weakness:

Read complaints of wind noise--not found on mind though-sorry. Also read about road vibration felt-experienced that a little on highway-found by using inside lane it goes away-cause is truck tire wear a groove in roadway.

AWESOME. Traded my wifes 4 door saturn for the Accord. Saturn was good engine started to go at 150K. Bought Accord as first new car-gift to self. Had ALL the options put in it. WOW. Can''t get over feel at low and high speed. Pulled over three times in first couple months because speed is so easy. Looked down at one point doing 100mph thought i was doing 70. Had windows tinted-real dark-looks great with fire red paint job. had to cry when I discovered a huge chunck of ice fell off the house roof onto the car causing $2500 in damage only had 2000 miles on it at the time. Three months later returned to dealer and got rid of wife Ford, Windstar-piece of junk-for a 2001 CR-V. Love it too.

Strength:

Great handling, nicely placed controls, roomy interior, more leg space, great sound system and sharpe overall look

Weakness:

Road noice can be heard, not too bad though. Thin paint. Low stearing wheel almost rest in my lap.

An excellent car for CAD 33,000, which has all the characteristics of a near luxury car. I love the roomy interior and smooth ride. No wonder this to be one of the most loved cars.

Strength:

reliability; handling; surprisingly durable appearance

Weakness:

a. Watch those dealer repairs! Tried to charge me $50 to replace tail light bulb. I thought they''d do it for free as a courtesy during a recall repair. Luckily I''d already done the other, and knew it took five minutes and a 60 cent bulb. Suggest you find a good mechanic, and wave good bye to dealership as you drive off. B.Hondas eat break pads. Check frequently C.They are airtight, so you wind up using the AC a lot in the winter, along with the heater. d. The steering column locks as an antitheft feature -- sometimes! Not mentioned in owner''s manual. Just push break pedal and jerk wheel.

Bought new. Has 78k. Several recalls, but no major non-covered problems. I LOVE this car! I know its time for a new one (Subaru Outback?) but I just LOVE this one. 4 cyl v tech outshines 4 cyl engine in previous 1987 Accord. Still hugs road; handling precise; acceleration fine. Still fun to drive. EX Alpine sound system outstanding. Car still looks beautiful even though it is kept outside and hardly ever washed

still looks good (very few paint chips, nice body) cheap to repair (i have a great mechanic) handles well, i feel much safer driving it then i did with the saturn altogether just a great car, i love it

Weakness:

has a little rattle noise sometimes, but i abuse this car and it has been driven to death.

Bought this car when i totaled my saturn. Got it for a deal - $3000 because it has a salvage title - it was stolen and the guys insurance company paid him off right before the honda was found. This thing has 182,000 miles on it and has obviously been driven to death but hondas are soldiers. Had it since september, put only a new timing belt into it (come on, this car is 11 yrs old and has ALOT of miles, even for its age.) Gas milage is awsome, i use it as a commuter car, 25 miles to and from work each day. I plan to buy a new car soon and will definetly stay with honda or acura.

Strength:

Good smooth ride, and smooth running engine. Reliability

Weakness:

None, so far.

I bought this car new in 95-it has given us 200100 miles of trouble free driving. We have only had to spend money on maintenance items. Once, we had an oil seal problem and had to spend $400 on repairs (including new timing belt, etc.), but Honda Co. ended up paying for it because of a recall. Not one penny has been spent on any major repair. It now needs cv joint replacement, but after 200K miles, we don''t mind a bit! This car still has the original clutch in it. Honda has been good to us. If you are looking for quality and reliability, I believe Honda is the best. We also had a 1985 Accord that we put 199000 miles on, we planned to put 300000 on it, but then it got wrecked, too bad, Im sure it was good for it. We bought our daughter a 92 accord with 67000 miles on it, she now has 187000-We relaced cv joints-$300, but that is all.

Strength:

Everything, just would have liked a five speed!!

Weakness:

Did not found any so far

The best car I ever have owned bought it 5 years ago with 75.000 km and now 160.000 km with no problems at all. Money spend on repair + 600$ for taaiming belt (normal maintenance) one new battery and the automatic shifter cable. For driving 85000 km this is cheap in maintenance compare to any North Americain junk cars!!!! Very cheap on fuel excellent road handling. That model is the EXR two doors Stereo is good but I just put in a Pionner with CD. No spot of rust on the body and I live in Canada this is were they put more salt on the road than on the french fries... The road handling is wonderfull , lots off room in the trunk even for 5 people we drove 800 km and everybody had lots off room in the car. Great acceleration with the automatic transmission. For fun I went to check some dealership Hona''''s and other brand and the trading values is between 7.500$ and 9.000$$ so what o except more than a Honda?????

Strength:

Strong V6, smooth shifting automatic transmission, great looking, handles very well

Weakness:

Lack of "off-the-line" oomph, moderate fuel economy relative to EPA rating (although it is still new with only 2,200 miles!)

I selected this car after my ''99 Cavalier Z24 for a more mature look and feel, without losing styling or much handling. I love the VTEC V6 - it does rock. Although it feels a tad underpowered on the lower end (only have 2200 miles on it), above 3000 rpm the engine is a rip-snorter! My boyfriend has a 2000 EX 4-cylinder sedan... no match! The interior is the best. The gauges, steering wheel, and shifter are some key interior items that sold me on the car. Love the exterior styling, especially the rear tail lights, the redesigned front bumper with air scoops, and the burbling dual exhuast pipes! This car is a total sleeper - mature looks with bad-boy power and handling!

Strength:

The car is extremely reliable and has been used for several long road trips (Terre Haute to Philly, Indy to Breckenridge). There''s nothing quite like the look on the service person''s face after getting two oil changes in a week and a half. The service that I received from the dealer in Terre Haute was great.

Weakness:

The power windows appear to have problems. They operate very slowly and one moves faster than the other. Also, others have complained that the seats have poor support. I have not noticed that problem. Also, the factory stereo was weak and reception was a bit rough. I replaced the head unit and the speakers.

I bought this car 2 years ago after having a very bad experience with an Oldsmobile. I have kept up with routine maintainence and have not had any major problems. I did have a scare shortly after buying the car, though. I took it in after smelling burning oil and there was oil all over the front of the block. The dealer thought that it was a small crack in the block. It turned out to be just leaky seal. (Boy, was I relieved.) It had 64k initially and now has 106k. I recently had the timing belts and water pump replaced. The performance is good. It has a fairly stiff ride, which I like. Some friends are surprised to learn that it is a 4 cylinder and not a 6. I would have chosen the manual if given the chance to buy the car again.

Strength:

I can''t believe people buy North American cars. After extensive research, before buying this car, there are only 3 manufacturers that make GOOD cars in this price range - Honda, Toyota, and VW -- in that order. Do the research and check the crash tests too.

Weakness:

Looks, a bit dated -- now in 5th production year. But all of the glitches are out!

Well built, good safety, ergonomics, fuel economy.
