Strength:

Pretty much everything -Reliability, reliability, reliability! Hey, it''s a Honda, what''d you expect? -Fun little car to drive -Comfortable on trips -Good quality interior materials--interior is still in perfect shape -Does U-turns like no other, it''s great! -Excellent in the snow and ice - never been stuck or gone in the ditch -Black with tan interior...my favorite color combo! -I love the popup headlights and sunroof too

Weakness:

-Cupholders (though you can get the ones from the SE-i) -Center armrest (their kinda hard to come by these days) -Factory speakers not the greatest That''s honestly about all I can think of

I absolutely, positively, LOVE this car! I know it''s getting old, but you gotta love Honda reliability! It just turned 285,000 miles the other night on a 3 hour trip to Chicago, and it has NEVER missed a beat...never. Still runs like there''s no tomorrow. It''s still on the original engine without rebuild, original transmission without rebuild, and even the original clutch that rolled it off the dealer lot back in 1989. My mom originally bought this car on May of 1997 with 140k to replace her unreliable Buick. She drove about 150 miles/day to work and back without ever having a single problem. I got the car in July 2000 with 253k after she rearended a minivan on her way to work. I sold my ''94 Ford Ranger and have been driving this little beast ever since. The biggest repair was a small leak that developed in the head gasket at about 275k. I replaced it myself though for pretty cheap so it wasn''t really that big of a deal. Other that that though (not counting the usual timing belts, tune up, etc) it''s just been CV joints at around 200k, alternator around 220k, and water pump at 260k. Car has never broken down, failed to start, or left anyone stranded. At around 240k it got me from Chicago to the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado and back in 5 days without a single complaint. If fact, since we''ve had this car, it''s only seen the side of the road once (except for when it was wrecked :-( ). I was on a trip and got hungry, so I pulled over to get some food out of the trunk, hehe :-). That''s it! Even though it''s a high mileage motor, I still use synthetic oil, and it doesn''t burn or leak a drop. Mileage is about 33-34 highway, and 26-28 in town. I''m not into the whole racing thing, but this thing is pretty quick. I know there''s alot of faster cars out there, but for a 285k mile 2.0L four banger, it can hold it''s own pretty darn good. I''m a 20 y/o m, and it still puts a smile on my face every single day. I love how it rides and drives, it''s like driving a big go cart! Even after the accident, she still doesn''t have any squeaks or rattles, and cruises smooth and quiet at 70-80 mph (or 95 a couple times...oops!). I wouldn''t even think twice about taking this car across country. I just trust it that much. So what am I getting at in this looooong story? Treat them right, and they will happily serve you

Solid driving, comfortable, economical, and good looking midsized sedan.

Weakness:

Haven''t found any yet.

McDavid gave us a no hassle great price, friendly service, and landed us 4.9% financing for 60 months. I went to the dealership looking for a fight, but instead found a laid-back buying experience.

Model Reviewed: EX V6

Strength:

Engine, ride, comfort, build quality, price/performance ratio, quite small turning circle for such a car, nice automatic gearbox. Looks great!

Weakness:

15-20l/100 km (I have a heavy foot, I know), paint is quite weak, honda service here in Lithuania sucks bigtime (the dashboard light stopped working, side airbag sensor went out - probably because of -25C we had here this winter). Honda''s leather interiors are not the best ones. No manual gearbox option for V6 :-(

Nice, luxurious car for a reasonable price.

Previously owned Audi B4''92 - doesn''t really compare. But before buying this one, testdrove Mitsubishi Galant 2.5V6 - it had a nicer gearbox IMHO, but ride, performance and comfort were below these

Strength:

1.0 Above average smooth and quiet V6 high end power, 2.0 Luxury level like leather interior trim, 3.0 Clean sounding CD player, 4.0 Instrument panel layout, 5.0 Well appointed and almost rattle and squeak free EX trim, 6.0 Excellent all-around view through windows, 7.0 Well balanced ride and handling, 8.0 I replaced the stock tires with the number one rated Consumer Report magazine Michelin X-One all season radial tires (sticky in rain), 9.0 Heated seats are soothing and really help on those frosty winter days/nights, 10.0 Used value for my dollar, 11.0 No repair costs to date, 12.0 Roomy front and rear for six footers, and 13.0 Nice automatic climate control system.

Weakness:

1.0 Thin paint (scratches easily), 2.0 Console cupholders should be reorientated to make it easier to access the rearward cupholder, 3.0 One recall regarding the replacement of the EGR port plugging (warranty was extended to 8 years or 130,000 kilometres), 4.0 Transmission upshift from 1st to 2nd gear usually harsh, 5.0 Weak low to mid range torque, 6.0 Weak headlamp bulbs (I replaced them with Sylvania "street legal" xenon gas filled bulbs which have a higher than 3,500 degree Kelvin rating---I was told 3,800 degree Kelvin), 7.0 Trunk hinge arms are not covered. Cargo stored under the hinges will get crushed, 8.0 Alloy wheels are not completely resistant to salty winter roads, 9.0 Lower rocker panel side skirt will dirty your calf if you are not carefull exiting/entering the car, 10.0 Rust at the sheet metal joint between the rear license plate bulb and the license plate wall. This was rectified under warranty at 101,010 kilometres (I will be oil spraying the car for the first time this May when the condensation is gone), and 11.0 Top 100 mm of he rear window will not defrost because of the embedded radio antenna.

I purchased this car used in March 2001 to replace my 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier V6 station wagon. I''ve driven my father''s new 1981 Buick Skylark V6 (worst car so far), I''ve owned a new 1986 Plymouth Reliant LX 2.5 litre, a new 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 litre and a off-lease 1994 aforementioned Cavalier. The Accord is the best to date. It is a heater mist metallic exterior colour with ivory colour interior. The option that did not come with the car is the trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer. The car had 83,265 kilometres. It now has roughly 110,000 kilometres. (Note: The above purchase price is in Canadian currency) I''m waiting to see if the internet rumours are true about the soon-to-be unveiled 2003 Accord.

I just want to say that I purchased my 1992 Honda Accord in March 1993. It only had 4000 miles on it. I still have it today and I have 241,000 miles on it. A Honda is the best damn car to drive. I love it. It''s never given me one problem and I''ve had it going on nine years. If you''re buying a car soon my advice would be Make it a Honda.

Weakness:

if u have more money, go for something else.

this is an update to my last review, i went in as the manager promised me on friday and they fixed the problem. it''s not about the suspension nor the tire balancing. it''s the rim, one of the rims has structural errors, therefore it''s impossible to balance a tire on it. so now if ur still experiencing the same problem, find out where does the vibration come from and tell them to change that rim. that''ll do it. without the vibration, now the car''s much better.

Reliability, Reliability, Reliability! Interior, fun to drive, peppy

Weakness:

Antenna motor went out and had to be replaced

I have driven my accord for almost five years now, and I have been very pleased with it. It has 140,000 miles on it, and it has been the most reliable car.I have done regular maintenance, including the dealer recommended service at 90,000 miles. I have replaced the CV boots, but other than that every thing that has been replaced has been routine, like a new battery and tires. The interior still looks new, and the paint is in good shape except for a few very small rust spots. My car is a five speed, and it is very peppy. It is faster than my sister''s ''93 prelude! She drove my car and commented on this!
