It's a pretty color. :)
Weakness:
It's a Ford! This car has been a pain in the butt. I am never buying a Ford again. It's been in service more than I've had it. I've finally decided to take it somewhere besides the dealer to get it fixed because the warranty doesn't mean anything and the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. The grinding noise that the brakes make..."it's a normal sound" *rolling eyes* I would not recommend buying this car. It would be one thing if they actually admited that the car had problems and they had good customer service and fixed the problems....but they won't admit it and they don't have good customer service and they WON'T fix the cars problems. |

everything This car was only manufactured to give auto service techs at Ford job security. The absolutely worse car man has ever made!!!People work hard to save money to buy a nice auto, so they think, and get shammed. This focus has been in service more than on the road. |

this car is garbage, and a menace to who ever drive it. this car is a piece of crap, after 10 visits and more then 30 day at the dealer they still can't fix it, this is the worst car i had ever owned, currently my car car is for sale, i want to get rid of it, "FREE" OR BEST OFFERT.Don't buy any ford they are the worst cars in the world. I guess whatever is still working. I bought this car used at 12,800+ miles.
Weakness:
See review The brakes squealed from day one. The brake rotors and shoes/pads had to be replaced at 20,000 miles;brakes deglazed to stop squealing, still get on-and-off squealing; all four tires are cropping. Taillight assembly replaced; battery replaced, computer sensor replaced due to car stumbling and surging; recall on battery cables and pinch bolt; wheel cylinders replaced. It gets pretty good gas mileage, and you can park pretty much anywhere.
Weakness:
Ummm, IT'S A FORD!! Something is always being replaced on it. It's not really reliable. This is the absolute worst car i have ever owned! I have had to replace 3 out of four tires. Needed new brakes AND Rotors at 25,000 miles and I don't even stop hard! I replaced 2 oxygen sensor before the car had 40,000 miles. The passenger side seat belt locks constantly so you can't move or breath. And now at 76,000 miles I was informed that I have a blown head gasket.Upon a compression test they said only 3 cylinders are working, so i need a new engine. No one at Ford will comment on this piece of crap!so i guess i'm stuck with it for another 3 years since the trade in value is only $6000 now, and i still owe double that. This car sucks!!! |

The whole car I bought this car in 8/00 Since then I’ve had 3 fuel pumps put in 2 ignition switch. I have had many recalls and many failed parts. I tried to contact ford and talk to some one about how unhappy I have been and they just give me the run around. When my ignition switch went the second time, my road side assistance call ford and they stated " oh, that normal for the older focus to do that." I am extremely unhappy with this car and I wouldn’t recommend any one getting this car if you want a dependable car. |

EVERYTHING IT WAS A FORD WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT A BRAND NEW 2003 FORD FOCUS WOULD CAUSE SO MANY PROBLEMS.YOU NAME IT, IT WAS BROKEN. AT FIRST I WISHED I NEVER BOUGHT THE HORRIBLE THING, BUT AFTER GOING THOURGH THE LONG PROCESS OF ABRITRATION AND ATTORNEYS. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR BOUGHT BACK, ACCORDING TO THE LEMON LAW. SAVE ALL YOUR INVOICES AND KEEP TAKING THAT LEMON CAR IN.IT WILL PAY OFF. I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY A FORD AGAIN, BUT THANKS TO FORD, I NOW HAVE A BETTER CAR THAN BEFORE.SO IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING ONE DONT GO SOME WHERE ELSE. TRUST ME AND ALL THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS.
