roomy and look

The red color looks great, although a poor paint job, lots of chips. If the car works, it's great! But, that's IF it works. Quality is terrible.... 2 transmission jobs (1st one 6 months new, second at 45,000 miles), new breaks, new head casket, new air pump, repaired tire axle. I've spent more money on the care than it was worth..... It's now gone!! I'll never buy another Dodge product again!

Roomy interior. Reason purchased Stratus over Honda (or similar) was based on large back seat (so kids didn't have to touch each other). Out of a rating of "5", I would give it a "1". This was the worst car I've ever had based on the quality. I've spent over $4700 fixing the transmission, head-casket, air pump "thing", etc, etc, etc.....

Has good pick up, nice style and color, great cd player, lots of room, handles great.

had problem with rear wheel bearings going out, till i went to a better after market brand, don't care for cup holders, would have liked a better selection of alloy rims from factory.

I really like it, I have had my share of newer cars, and this one has proven to be the best.I have found that if you matain the drivetrain to factory guidelines, you'll have little to no problem exceding 150,000 mi, i currently have 167,000 miles on mine, and it still runs as good as the day i bought it. I have did nothing but routine matienance, changed alternater, belt, trans & oil fluid, rear wheel bearings and brakes. I have read alot of these comments, and have come up with an idea? I you want to race a car, buy a race car! If you want to drive a car like the stratus with minimum repairs, then don't hot rod it! These cars were not built to race.

Where to start?,,, First of all the car looks really aggressive and was styled extremely well, not to much, not to little. The Interior is pretty well set up, not perfect but good, very roomy and spacious. The performance is decent I would say, Nice torque, somewhat slow acceleration
because of the weight.

I love It, No engine or transmission leaks, pepy for a 4cyl 2.4L, sound system is #1 compare to imports (my mom's Honda Civic and oncle's Nissan Altima), carreview.com says that it's the best looking car in America and it's true. Great gas mileage, instrument panel and steering wheel is very nice, interior cloth is nice. Lot of leg space at back

Body Roll, Wind noise at high speeds

This is a very well built car. Solid, fast, and reliable. With leather interior, sunroof, basically every option available for this model, I felt right at home. I wanted a used BMW 3-series sedan, but the cost of it used was the same as the Stratus new and the cost for repairs is higher than the Stratus.

One option I absolutely love is the AUTOSTICK. It allows me to shift into a manual style control of the transmission at any speed and I can do a 1st gear, 2nd gear, or even a 3rd gear start of the line. The auto stick is about a half second slow when I'm shifting gears, but the computer won't let you blow the engine. If you had not shifted by reaching redline, the computer kicks into the next gear. Great and when you are slowing down, no need to worry because the computer will return the gears back to first and you can start again. That’s the best feature; many of my friends love that feature. During normal driving with the AUTOSTICK, it acts like a normal manual with out the clutch and the engine sounds the part too. While driving, you grab the shifter and shift back from drive to AUTOSTICK and either taps the shifter to the left to lower the gear or right to go to the next higher gear. After playing with the auto stick feature, I can shift back into normal drive and I don't have to worry about shifting any more. That's the greatest thing I've seen in a car.
Besides that, the ride is very good at any speed.

The engine is a V-6 kicking 168 HP. Rides very smooth and has the power to pass on the highway when needed. The engine is loud when accelerating, but it's not loud to the point of annoyance. It' actually makes you think you possess a V-8 instead of a V-6

These cars have such a sporty look and roomy also. Also I love the huge trunk that I can throw all off my stuff in.

Well really the only thing is that the electric windows make a weird noise when putting them up. I think the motors might be going out. But overall no other problems.

Since I have had the car it had caused me no problems. I have only had the car for 5 months. When I bought it, it had 15,000 miles now it has 24,000.
But I would definately reccommend this car. If your looking for a sporty look but roomy if you have kids this is the perfect car.

The engine performance, MPG, and room.

Everything, the car is always breaking, it has 73,000 miles on it, and i don't think it will make it to 100,000 miles. The head gaskets have went out, the bearings in the steering column, the actual seat came off of the frame, the under houseing of the engine came off, and now it is making a ticking sound(i bet it isn't good). NEVER BUY A DODGE!!!!

The car was impressive new, but with time, and miles, it soon wore away to just a inclosed peice of poorly contructed metal with 4 tires. The performance is great, the room is great, and it wasn't that expensive.

At 60k miles I had to REPLACE THE HEAD GASKET!!!!!!!!!. My brakes suck and have always sucked! My transmission is going out! Oh and the designers could have atleast designed the cup holders a little better! Every time I think of the word Dodge, I think of car problems. I know a few people who have similar cars by the same make and yes they too have such problems. Dodge has good taste in style, but not mechanically! I urge everybody not to buy Dodge products and to inform others about the whole Dodge SCAM!!

The car handles exceptionally well. The style is absolutly amazing. This car is fun to drive. The interior is very large. You sit very low to the ground which is nice( makes you feel like your in a sporty car!). Anyone with a big, but not to large family should look into buying one of these cars. BUT BE READY TO FORK OUT MONEY WHEN THE TIME COMES!!!!!!!
